I heard some talk that DBZ abridged might actually adapt the buu saga but not in same way they have been doing and instead more like a highlight reel. It’s just a rumor at this point but I think the source of the rumor came from MasakoX so it seems pretty credible. This is all I know so if there is anything to contradict me please let me know.
When Cell said ‘It started like all stories do. With a little girl shooting a little boy in the face.’ He was referring to how Goku and Bulma met. Goku flipped over her car and she actually shot him in the face with a pistol or well at least tried. It’s crazy to think that Bulma was Goku’s first friend and Z fighter.
There is so much from DB that gets referenced in Abridged that you’d think was just a joke if u didnt watch/read DB, Bulma shooting Goku in the face chapter 1, Goku getting hit by a car in a Budokai, Goku sending a rabbit to the moon, theres another one coming in the last couple episodes that I cant wait to see them react to
If no one has mentioned them the cell versus videos were a mini series done leading up to the final episodes of DBZA that are short and fun to visit as well.
Actually if I remember in the Superhero movie, at least the dub version, they added Hercule to his full name while keeping Mark and Mr. Satan in tact. Don’t know about the Japanese version though
Well, it’s basically been his “official” English name for a while now in terms of dub and English translation.
He was renamed in other dubs of the show because in certain languages his name could have been confused with another character, and I think that’s where the English dub got Hercule from?
But yeah, officially as far as English goes he is Hercule Satan, it’s just not that way in Japanese. I haven’t seen Superheroes but I’m assuming that’s just a continuation of using the English rules for his name
You guys should watch the Broly Vs Hulk Death Battle episode after you watch the Broly movie for DBZ. I think it would be a great reaction

The scene with Gero’s son obviously wasn’t in the show, but it is canon that Gero designed 16 after his son.
It’s also canon that his son was in the Red Ribbon Army. He, however, didn’t get killed by Goku.
You guys just constantly miss the references to Dragon Ball. You really should consider reacting to it. It’s fantastic.

Mr. Satan is a stage name, Mark is his real name, Hercule is completely made up – most of the characters in DBZ don’t have surnames
