I remember when this movie came out, I watched it so many times that I ruined the DVD of it my parents bought me. This was and I think still is, my favorite Shrek movie. I really liked the whole baby and Arthur plot line and the princesses saving themselves. I say “think still is” because I haven’t seen 4 yet. When 4 came out I got about 10 minutes in and then left the room
This might me weird but you guys should watch Shrek the musical you get a tiny bit more info on Shrek and it really good I think you guys will enjoy it

Honestly, idk why ppl hated this movie so much. It definitely wasn’t as great as the 2nd one, but still really good. I always like it anyway; it’s Forever After that was bad
I actually like this movie and the 4th movie. Don’t get me wrong, 1 and 2 are better, but 3 and 4 are still fun too. 4 is also better than 3 though, in my opinion, so I hope you enjoy it ?
Y’know, upon rewatching It’s actually not as bad as I remember, It’s my least favorite of the series but I would still say it’s an alright movie. A little boring and forgettable but not bad. 6/10.
Honestly when I was like 5/6 years old when this movie came out, I used to absolutely adore this movie. I used to play outside and pretend I was Snow White in that one scene where she called all the forest animals lmao. But to be fair, the jokes hit different in Spanish than it does in English(I grew up watching the shrek movies I Spanish cuz my grandma would send movies from Mexico to my family and I).
If you guys still want to see Justin Timberlake sing in a Dreamworks movie, then I suggest watching DreamWorks “Trolls.” He’s the main character and it’s really fun. The sequel is pretty metal, too.
For Shrek Forever After which is the next one, I personally liked it better than the third one. It has a more emotional storyline and some awww moments. You probably like the fourth one than the third one but we’ll see. Plus, can’t wait for a Puss in Boots (2011) reaction!! That’s going to be fun to watch.

Yeah I agree with that. Shrek the Third can be enjoyable for sure. But it’s the bottom of the franchise for sure
