Remember how in the first movie Fiona said the curse that made her an ogre was put on her as a little girl? Well over the years, and I don’t know if it’s been confirmed at all, but I’ve developed this theory that The Fairy Godmother actually put that curse on her as a part of whatever deal her dad made to be changed into a human and marry Fiona’s mom. That way Prince Charming would eventually save her, marry her, and end up as the future king to Far, Far, Away.
I always loved the foreshadowing in the first movie when Shrek was like ‘You expected Prince Charming?’ And Fiona responded with ‘Well…yeah?’

It’s weird knowing in puss and boots the last wish. Puss mentions that he doesn’t have any friends after all he’s done with Shrek and donkey.
Also it’s super weird seeing how horrible he looked back then compared to now
It’d be cool if y’all would watch the far far away idol which came after Shrek 2 on the vhs tape. It’s found on YouTube easily. It’s American idol but Shrek characters
ruff and bree yall need to react to the lord of the ring movies and the hobbit movies, they are so good and also yall should watch the 3rd and 4th shrek movies, i mean yall have already done 1 and 2 might as well finish the rest
The holding out for a hero scene was an awakening for me. I never wanted to be a fairy godmother more and yeah the shrek 2 game was the greatest game of its time
The third one was pretty bad but I suggest to watch it anyway. Also, do the fourth one even though people thought it was just as bad as the third one but I thought it was good. And definitely react to the first Puss in Boots movie.
BTW, are you guys done reacting to horror movies? Because I don’t want you guys to stop reacting to horror movies, there is so much more to react.
Oh, shame that Sean never knew about the Dronkeys. Also, Marvel did not start the post-credit scenes. Remember, Ferris Beuler had a post-credit scene in the 80s. There’s been plenty of them for decades. I do seriously wonder what Dragon might have turned into due to the Happily Ever After Potion. I know it’s not well-loved, but I do hope y’all enjoy Shrek the Third.
I know Marvel didn’t start post-credit scenes, but they made it necessary to stay and watch them because it was tied to the continued story. The everyone followed along.
Please do not skip the third one! Also for those who are saying it adds nothing and not canon, there is like one thing that happens in the third that carries over to the fourth. And while I agree it’s the weakest one of the four, I still enjoyed the third one and I do hope they will do it.
By all means guys feel free to skip Shrek the Third. It literally adds nothing to the overall story. But Shrek Forever After is a perfect ending to a perfect trilogy. *Shrek the Third IS.NOT.CANON.

The reading of the book in Forever After perfectly fills you in on that. You don’t need to watch the Third in order to understand Forever After.
