2:14 RE: JG Quintel’s AMA
We are a scripted show, so everything gets written out and we read it and give notes. Sometimes if you have a really good idea for something you tell the story verbally, and it can be worked into the script.
Then we get it recorded and the VO Talent bring it to life, sometimes the way they read a line, or ad lib stuff, can make us rethink the way a joke could work.The board artists draw it all based off of those recordings and then they pitch their boards and we’ll make changes there too. Sometimes based off of a visual only, nothing that would have been in the script. When that happens, I like to just quick draw it on some post its or go off and board the bit, because I know the drawings will be funnier than me trying to explain it. (sometimes this doesn’t work, and it was only funny to me, but that’s cool too)
I can’t wait for them to get into the later seasons cause the show takes each character and somehow makes them better without losing the randomness that each episode brings
A few guest voices you guys missed, Park Avenue, the spray paint guy, was voiced by Troy Baker, and Demel-Ishun, the black girl in the rap episode was voiced by MC Lyte.
I’m shocked, I feel like Muscle Man only gets better as the show goes on and fleshes out his character. Maybe they just hate returning to him before all the development?
No it’s often rigby almost EVERY single episode starts with Mordecai and rigby doing work and then rigby gets lazy asf as always, while on the job, then Mordecai tries to stop him and then he eventually gets distracted or he sees whatever rigby sees that they both enjoyed a few years before and then crazy shit pops off. It’s right 9/10
Can’t wait to see their opinions switch up by the end of the series?.
I’m surprised they’ve been on the internet without seeing all those regular show clips/TikTok shorts or analysis vids like with adventure time and gumball.
