   When it comes to the discussion about technology hurting us in the long term, I feel it all goes back to the convenience subject. Because we have dealt with so many problems when going in person, the easier approach is tempting despite not being better all the time. Ngl, i don't mind having my bank on my phone, because the in-person service just sucks, and it's designed to mistreat you constantly since they're the ones holding your money for as long as possible or fucking you over.

   But then there's the actual social aspect, and combined with how fear mongering has made things worse, it's easier to just isolate. It's worse in the long run due to the lack of development on certain skill for the sake of convenience, but that's what it was, convenience, we have fallen into this trend because of convenience.

   A way you each could have a monitor for each of you is have it IN the table right in front of each of you. That way each can see the screen (and perhaps interact with it also) without any issues of seeing each other still

   If I had a significant other I would probably want to sleep separately, not out of dislike or anything. I toss and turn in my sleep never on my back, and I get hot and sweaty so I'm sure the other wouldn't want me constantly waking them up ? I have seen some content creators that a GoPro on their cats collar. The one I remember is called Mr. Kitters the Cat. It's really fun to watch their adventures. Eric, I would be so down to see that same type of content from your cats.?

   as an irish person it genuinely baffles me how americans naturally look for exits in rooms they enter its really sad tbh, like sure because im a women i do the in situations i deem unsafe, but its very much something i have to think about yk.
