   Slight correction, SWTOR actually takes place over 3000 years before the prequel trilogy. The rule of two was implemented way after the days of the Sith Empire, primarily to curb the endless infighting that occurred within Sith Ranks. SWTOR also introduced Darth Vitiate or the Eternal Emperor. He lead the Sith Empire before ditching it to create the Eternal Empire and come back to attempt to conquer both factions. He is an evil son of a bitch who at age 13 wiped out the entire population of his planet to gain immortality (sort of). Vitiate would then go on to utilize multiple clone bodies and his ability to transfer his consciousness between bodies to stay alive.

   for context there is something called the rule of two which states that there can only be one sith master and their apprentice at a time hence why apprentices end up killing their master.

   blue sabers are linked to Jedi Guardians, who are more focused on physical combat and protection, while green sabers are associated with Jedi Consulars, who emphasize knowledge, diplomacy, and a deeper connection with the Force.

   Originally, Green was reserved for Jedi Masters, Blue for Jedi Knights.

   the blue and green signify swordmasters and jedi strong in the force, I forget which means which but thats what I've been told, not sure if its still cannon.

      also yellow is if they're balanced, usually jedi temple guards and sentinels have them.

   Ok so stopping a lightsaber with your hand like that is an ability known as Tutaminis. Yoda uses it in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith when he deflects and absorbs lightning. It’s like creating a small field with the force that can deflect attacks, Vindican (the masked Sith in the first cinematic) used it to deflect a missile.

   This took place thousands of years before the Prequels. Also, fun fact the Sith used to be a race of dark-side sensitive people before dark Jedi came and took over. The dude with the red face who gets his mask cut off in the first video was a member of that race. Star Wars lore goes so deep.

    Also while the cutscenes are great, and the game is great, the cutscenes are not representative of the gameplay. They are however very representative of the story. It’s over 3000 years ago, and there are as many Sith as there are Jedi.

    There’s some early attempts to explain it as green lightsabers leaning more diplomat/scholar and blue more towards combat, but I don’t think that’s caught on. In any case the only reason we have green lightsabers is that Luke’s saber would have been invisible in episode 6; apparently the Tatooine sky was the exact same color they were using for the blue lightsaber effect.

    The game is good.

    The story on it is great.

    Every Class has its own Story. And EVERYONE is voice acted. Every NPC you speak to has voice lines, and not short ones.

    While its an MMO, it could easily pass as an massive Single Player game, where can invite people to do coop.
