What makes someone a mutant in marvel, is the X gene, which causes them to randomly develop their powers in their teenage years. Why people have a problem with them and not say captain america, is the view that mutants are the next stage in evolution and will become more and more prominent until they outnumber normal humans and make them obsolete. Anyone could be made into captain america if the serum is recreated, normal people can become hulks through gamma radiation, normal people can't just become mutants

The difference between Mutants and other superpowered beings in marvel is the x-gene. Mutants are born mutants bc of that gene, often discovering their powers at around 16. Other marvel characters were either experimented on, got powers in an accident, or got them through mystical means.

At first I was really excited that they are starting to introduce secondary mutations, but then I was like, " Oh no! Cat-Beast"

The reason they hate mutants and not other super humans is that there isn't a good one it's bigotry. Bigotry is not logical. That is why X-Men *don't* work in their own separate universe. Because there's a logical reason to be afraid of people who can explode your head with their mind. That's not bigotry. Bigotry is hating Xavier for his mind exploding powers while loving Moondragon, a reformed villain, for hers just because she wasn't born a mutant.

The biggest reason why Mutants are more heavily discriminated against than other heroes like Captain America is because Mutants represent the next step in human evolution. The X-gene could be passed to offspring and this is why humans fear monger over Mutants replacing them as the dominant species.

Only season 1 and 2 will be from the same main director/writer of the series though, he got booted off the show before it even began.
I'm desperately hoping S3 doesn't have a quality drop since S3 (and any future seasons) will be without the creator and (seemingly) main writer and director.

Mutants are verbally born the way they are and there powers come at puberty. Captain America was a military experiment by the US government very different. The Avengers aren’t really considered mutants cause they were born that way tho they have their own stigma against them especially Hulk he’s perceived as a monster to the world . & if you guys ever react to the Original omg you’ll love the Cable epsidoes X-men does crazy time travel

The X-Men actually do know that Professor X is alive. They’re the ones who gave him to the aliens. So yeah they are knowingly lying to the world.

I saw the re-release of Spider-Man 1 and 2 and brought me back childhood memories. With box office, first one did over $300,000 and second did over $800,000 which that’s insane. I was also very surprised on how the CGI effects were pretty good for a 20 year old movie. It will be bizarre how much Andrew and Tom movies are so different compared to Tobey’s.

Those guys at Remy’s funeral are members of the Thieves Guild, an organization that Remy was once a part of.

In fact the blond guy is Remy’s older brother Bobby. The reason he gets that look on his face when Nightcrawler mentions Remy’s inability to accept that he was a good guy is that Bobby brought Remy into the guild in the first place.

Also not everyone who's powers come from genetic mutations are mutants. Its specifically the x gene that makes a mutant. For example Spiderman's powers are the result of a mutation caused by the radioactive spider bite, but he is not a mutant

Mutants are born with their powers because of genetic mutations, hence the name, Captain America isn’t a mutant because his powers came from a science experiment to create a super soldier, not a genetic mutation.
