  1. honestly becoming air nomads after being forced into a slave army is the perfect oposite

    slave army
    – enslaved
    -fighting war

    air nomad
    – freedom if core to belief
    – anti war

  2. Seeing Zuko again is so awesome again! I like the callbacks you guys point out like when the queen said, “There are no airbenders in Ba Sing Se.” “There is no war in Ba Sing Se.”

  3. With Korra the first 2 and even last season are like kids books. Magic tree house or diary of a wimpy kid kinda story writing. But season 3 is like lord of the rings or game of thrones by comparison.

  4. I thought that *that one factoid* about *you-know-who* was in this episode but I guess that’s a reaction to look forward to at a later date. ?
And always good to hear more about our boy Sokka, though I can never remember the extent of what is canon and what is fanon, so I’m keeping the Sokka thoughts to myself for now, just in case! ?

  5. I want to point out that in ATLA, when Roku confronted Sozin, Sozin told him that Roku’s loyalty is to his nation first but Avatar YangChen told Aang that the Avatar’s duty is to the world and it shows that 3 Avatars confronted people of power of their individual nation. Kyoshi confronted Chin, Roku confronted Sozin and Korra confronted Unalaq. Even Wan stood up against the injustice of the city he lived in before he became the Avatar

  6. Kinda cool how book 3 for both Avatar and Korra are respectively the best seasons for each show. (in my opinion, not trying to start any wars in the comments lol)

  7. So in case you guys didn’t know (although Boom probably did), Zaheer is voiced by the legendary Henry Rollins, known for being the frontman of Black Flag

  8. This season and season 4 are very much connected. I believe they got greenlit for both seasons at the same time and were able to kinda go full force since they had more guaranteed episodes to work with! Every episode of this season is amazing, and Season 4 is great too. I really think you’re gonna enjoy them~

  9. P’li doesn’t need to be related to Combustion Man. Combustion Bending is just like any other Bending ability. Genetic. So this particular one is incredibly rare and doesn’t happen often at all.

  10. I thought I’ve watched season 3 when it aired but apparently I’ve only caught glimpses of it while channel surfing because holy shit, I don’t remember any if this and it is way more awesome that I thought I remembered

  11. Pi’Li is not related to Combustion Man. They just have the same type of rare firebending ability. I have a theory about how they might be connected but it has some minor spoilers so I am going to hold off on it.

Also just to clarify if you guys are still confused, Ghazan the lava bending guy is an Earth Bender. Not a firebender. A bit of explaination on how Earth bending works (Boom might like this), earth benders don’t actually directly control the earth itself but the minerals in the earth. It’s how metal bending is possible since it’s about controlling the minerals inside metal. This is also why Metal Benders like Lin couldn’t bend the metal in the mechs that Asami’s dad made since it’s made of pure metal without any minerals inside it. Lava is essentally molten earth so it has minerals inside it hence why Ghazan could bend it.

  12. This season is something you can’t help but binge. The first time I got to this season it was quite late in evening and I stayed up till 3 am because I could not stop watching!
