So this joke went over my head as a kid but. Grebnax well. Let's say it this way. "Grab her by the Grebnax".
That's why beast boy apologizes.

The only thing scarier than a spider with a gun is a crab with a knife. Idk if a spider can shoot more than web, but a crab can definitely stab....

I remember watching Fear Itself for the first time when it came out. We were in my friends basement. It was terrifying as a kid.

Tara Strong is the best actress to voice Raven and Kitten in this episode!

The English theme is for plot and lore episodes and the Japanese theme is for episodes of the more silly variety.

Beast boy says killer moths moth caterpillar would make a good pet, and in go they have silkie, sometimes I think about this and wonder if this was a coincidence or if they did it intentionally

"We don't want any comments." Fuckin' finally. I can stop pretending to care.
So, since it's been so long since I watched this series; HOT DAMN, I didn't realize how many characters Tara Strong voices in this. I'm genuinely surprised that Ruff (and Sean, to a lesser extent) aren't pointing out Timmy Turner.

There are two main intros that play interchangeably, the Japanese, and English. The Japanese version is played during lighthearted episodes while the English version is played during more serious ones.

Season 2 episode 11, don't skip that intro guys trust me. The intro version in that episode is very special for the episode it accompanies. It isn't just to let the intro roll promise.

Oh I've been waiting for these episodes! The scary movie and prom ones are so good!?

God, the internal battle I suffered when I realized the theme song comments were mine, and I had mentioned it like 3 times, once with super specific detail, and the only one I didn't say "BTW it's Japanese" was the episode 6 comment.
I was stressing out/ hoping it ACTUALLY changed to Japanese in this episode or I was going to have to change my name and move towns or put a paper bag over my user icon. ?
I just thought it was a neat little thing unique to the TT fandom, glad most of you liked it! ?

Did I miss a reaction? I don’t tend to rewatch the prom episode, so I never noticed Starfire’s eyes. Is this an error or did I miss something? Why is she shooting energy blasts from her eyes?
Really looking forward to the second half of the season tho

Actually you have it backwards! The Japanese intro plays if the episode is light-hearted and weird/silly.

Shipping has always been the least interesting aspect of tv shows to me, but I quite like how Robin and Starfire’s relationship is written. Sure they’re not official bf and gf, but they clearly like each other and don’t bother hiding it. There isn’t any drama and the writers don’t manufacture random romantic subplots. Even in the episodes where their interest in each other comes up, it doesn’t dominate the story. Their feelings about each other are obvious, but never overshadow the important stuff that’s happening. They never show real interest in anyone but each other and their jealousy is played for comedy rather than romantic tension. I think that’s a pretty good spot to have Robin and Starfire’s relationship given how action-focused the show is.

Personally, I absolutely love the jealous Starfire moments in this episode!
