If you like this fight, just wait, there's going to be one that will "rival" this one

You seem to be misremembering something. Maul wasn't Dooku's disciple, he was Palpatine's direct disciple just like Dooku.

If I was obi-wan and just detached that cockpit i'd be calling up a venator or two and having it blast that floating hull to umbara and back lol

At some point after you guys finish the series, I highly recommend watching the BTS content. Sam and Clancy deliver such amazing performances together.

His Star Wars knowledge is part of the reason why I still watch it.  His voice acted so many good characters. And even in a series or two, I’ve seen him play. He’s been an awesome actor.

LETS FUCKING GO BITCHES!! Also i love the dialogue Mauls says when hes trying to get a grip in the cave. The "Through Victory my chains are broken" is the end verse of the Sith Mantra or code, discussing grasping power to be free. And you might recognize the "The chains, the chains are the easy part" because the Brother from Mortis, a paragon of the Dark Side, says the same as the creepy imp creature. The physical chains are the easy part. Its the chains in your mind that are hard. And both the Mortis Brother and Maul are voice by the same guy so theres a beautiful Meta continuity there I love.

Season 5 really does pop off (even if a certain set of episodes really just does Grievous bad), it's still great.

You would enjoy the Force Unleashed games. You get to play as a sith that rampages through the galaxy.

To answer Eric’s question, no, grievous had nothing to do with Talzin or the witches. The deal Dooku made with Talzin when she got his hair was actually from back when he was a Jedi and the Jedi agreed to help the witches

One thing you will come to realize is that when Maul is involved, all morality is thrown out the window. He is almost as evil as Vader was.

Two things 1. THE MAUL ARC LETS FUCKING GO!

    2. Funfact the voice actor for maul is sam witwer a long time star fans fan/nerd that was also the voice of the mc in the star wars game the force unleashed. Also he's such a geek that one time he outgeeked the showrunner dave filoni by correcting him on a scene

Back during the Mortis Gods arc, when Sam first came onto the show to play the Son, there's a scene where the Son disguises himself as Shmi and tries to trick Anakin. In the original script, Anakin said something along the lines of "I have a wife. I want you to meet her."

After the first recording of that Sam piped up and mentioned how they had to redo that scene because Shmi and Padmé had already met in TPM.

Filoni apparently was quite shocked to have forgotten that, according to Sam's retelling of the story.

There was a scene where Anakin sees his mom after she died and is talking to her ghost and says something along the lines of how much he wants her to meet padme (something like that I don't fully remember the context) and after he shot the scene, Sam said "that was amazing but we gotta do that again because padme already met shmi in the first movie". Dave basically went oh crap and they had to change it lol
