“Team Anakin” = Team children killing. I totally get why Anakin turned to the dark side but being team Anakin means he’s part of being planets being destroyed by space nazis.
These episodes to me very much cement my idea that the Jedi in this series are intentionally written with their heads up their bums. It's like Yoda said "Complacency invites vulnerability" and yeah, they very much were complacent before The Phantom Menace. Even now in the Clone Wars they seem so sure of themselves and it ultimately hurts them, and even worse is it hurts Anakin. Even Obi-Wan who is like a brother to Anakin, chose not to reveal the truth about going undercover even when it was ultimately safe to after the funeral. I absolutely cannot blame Anakin for siding with Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith after this series. Definitely feels like one of the goals of the show was to strengthen the failings of the Jedi order and Anakin's fall.
I feel like they keep forgetting how bad the sith are and the fact Anakin killed children. when they say they're on team Anakin. or they're having a joke. Either way its funny for me
