  1. Idk if you guys know yet or not, but season 7 has an 8 part mini series called “stakes” from episodes 6-13 . It’s all lore heavy stuff. Idk if that’ll affect how you record and post the first 5 episodes or those 8 episodes but I thought it was important to note!

  2. So certain things to talk about Finn‘s dad is obviously garbage, but both him and Finn have come to accept that, so that pretty much closes his story and the comet is not the end goal of the show but you guys have technically seen the endgame of show previously, but I won’t spoil what it is but you’ve seen him a couple of times actually also Finn was one of the comets that came to Ooo this most recent comet was that three eyed purple thing and another green comet that came whenever Evergreen was around was the Lich it seems that each of the comets come as something different but are important to the world

  3. I would strongly suggest watching 5 episodes next week, then 4 the next week, then 4 again the next. You will understand why when you do it. If you don’t do it, it will feel a little strange. Season 7 is one of the best IMO.

  4. It is totally confirmed that Finn is the reincarnation of one the Catalyst Comets, more specifically he is the reincarnation of the Blue Comet which impacted on Earth 1.000 years ago, right after the Mushroom War.

Same thing with The Lich, he is the reincarnation of the Green Comet that impacted on Earth during the Age of Dinosaurs… as you saw it in the episode Evergreen.

  5. I read this fan theory somewhere that Finn and Lich in theory are about as powerful as each other since they are both the reincarnation of the comet. The reason why Lich seems so much more stronger is because he keeps all his memories and powers from his previous reincarnations. As we have seen in an earlier episode, Finn locks away all his memories in his mind vault, essentially nerfing himself.

  6. I’m sure others have notified you guys but I’mma jump in here and say it too. In season 7, there’s an 8-parter coming up, starting at episode 6, and right after all 8 episodes there’s a double-length. Approach it however you want, but I think isolating the 8-parter might be the best for the flow of things? So, either doing it all in one shot or splitting it up into your usual 4-episode batches, just with a 5-episode batch before it. Do it however you wish though! I just think it’s better to watch these 8-parters (there’s 3 of them and this is the first) isolated from other episodes.

  7. Since we now know everything about Finn’s relationship with the comet I would like to point out a small plothole. If you guys recall in the farmworld episode Finn wished for a world without the lich which led to the blue comet never hitting Earth since it was stopped by Simon. But that makes Finn’s existence in farmworld a plothole since he shouldn’t exist either. He is the reincarnation of the comet.

    1. It’s not really a plothole because the Blue Comet is not responsible for the Birth of Finn, he was going to be born anyway… it’s just that in the case of Farmworld Finn he doesn’t have the essence of the Comet inside of him.

      1. Yeah, he exists but he doesn’t have the comet’s essence. This is also why he got corrupted by the ice crown so easily, he is not the embodiment of good in Farmworld.

  8. the thing I love most about adventure time is the fact that it really is the best way to introduce children to complex philosophical ideas. that little talk with the purple comet is genuinely pretty deep and probably got some kids thinking about stuff they never did before.

  9. The comet is easily the coolest thing in this show by it directly bringing about the lich then finn as a counterbalance is so cool like there isn’t even any bad intent from the universe its just changing the state of being

  10. The Catlist comets are Cosmic emetizes as the embodiment of change, and when she said pure good she meant Finn, Finn is the reincarnation of a comet making me a cosmic entity in a way, its why he can see his past live. Finn may be a human has has some stuff to grown on but he is pure good and the counter to the lich. Also Finn still has power remember with just emotion he was able to create a psyic arm. Each comet means change of any kind, like putitng the lich on earth as you saw in Evergreen or putting Finn on there to fight him eventually.

  11. The show isn’t gonna make it anymore obvious so I’ll say it straight up. The green comet that evergreen tried to stop by making the ice crown WAS the lich, just like Finn was once the comet that brought about the incarnation of good, the Lich was the comet that brought about the incarnation of evil

  12. And so season 6 ends, we enter season 7 where the episodes are most story related. Still has some episodic ones but it’s definitely more enjoyable than season 6. One particular character gets the spotlight, and I am so excited for you all to see it!

  13. On the lamb: Those comments he made with “Finn junior” are suspicious (I won’t abandon you), but then he leaves without any remorse, a true mystery Martin.

Hot diggity dog: The prophetic dream came true, and the sweet people despised PB (it is clear PB made mistakes, many for the “greater good of her people” but that her citizens, whom she cared for and loved for centuries, changed her without mercy or doubts is simply unfair and since she only cares about THE SAFETY OF HER CAREGIVERS and asks Finn and Jake for it, it shows how she is used to taking care of her children no matter what happens

The comet: Orgalord tries to obtain the comet being stopped by Finn and the “curse of the grass sword” showing how it still exists within him, the comet catalyst speaks to Finn and asks him about his mortality and how people have formed him and helped to improve and since he has much more to do in his earthly form, we see and confirm that that catalytic comet from “Evergreen” WAS The Lich, we see how Betty did fall under madness (after Magic Man’s deception) and finally again Martin tries to escape from his responsibilities and asks the comet to leave that earthly plane and when Finn (very fairly) scolds him Martin says an interesting phrase: “When you burn bridges you can only move forward”, Finn listens and accepts that, finally leaving perhaps forever. Martin, we will know who this BROKEN man really was, who knows?
