The Graybles 1000+ episode is one of the most in depth looks at future OOO you’ll ever see. So much of the future lore is hidden in plain sight. It all makes more sense upon rewatching.
Once I dremt that I was sitting in a school desk in a white room, feeling a disk under the skin of my forearm, so I used the edge of the disk to cut an opening and pull it out… It was a sugar cookie and I ate it. Then I woke up.
Yeah ngl the Chips and Ice Cream episode sucked. Genuinely one of the worst episodes, another stinker is in the next batch but I’d say it’s worth it cuz the other three are good episodes! I’m so excited.
I believe there were a few SU voice actors in these episodes. I haven’t checked so I might be wrong, but Jermaine was definitely Greg; the basement demon might’ve been Greg’s old manager, Marty; and I think Chips and maybe Ice Cream were played by Sadie’s voice actor. Or Sapphire’s.
Yeah I have no comment on Chips and Ice Cream except that everytime I watch that eps and Jermaines, I get the Chips and Ice Cream song and the Booboo Sousa song stuck in a loop in my head for DAYS lol. Especially the Booboo Sousa song. That randomly pops into my head whenever, lol.
I never noticed the implications of the prophetic dreams until Boom brought it up, and it’s very interesting as having never watched past this point originally. I wonder if it has any relevance to the first time Bubblegum “lost”, and fell in the Lich’s evil fluids?
Before anyone says anything, PB and Starchy’s graybles/flashback happens on the morning of episode “Jake of Brick” chronologically BEFORE the episode “The Cooler” where PB starts to stop spying on people and removes EVERYTHING about spying on people, and if you’re wondering, in the StoryBoards they explain that Starchy from “Pillama War” is a clone identical to the original who, unlike James, continued with his normal life, so NO, PB did not return to his bad attitudes .
Now Jermany: On the one hand they show in depth Jake’s brother (who appears in Crystal has Power and is the biological son of Margaret and Joshua from the episode where Jake was born) we see him tormented by all his responsibilities left by Joshua when he died, and how in the end he leaves his parents’ past behind, to live peacefully (“Without the sins of the father”) showing even at the end that that blue demon was just a dramatist and did not really want to hurt him in the end.

Graybles 1000+ (NO SPOILERS PLEASE) As indicated by the OOO status and the title 1000+ this takes place at some point after 1000+ years of the events of the series, we took a look at this future in “LemonHope part 2” , where after 1000+ years (although it is not clear if it was more or less) LemonHope returns to the remains of what was once the Limón kingdom and dies peacefully in the room that PB left him, and if a sentence describes OOO in 1000+ years is “remains”, the tree house (icon of the series) is nothing more than a gigantic tree, the Candy kingdom, apparently in “LH part 2” abandoned and destroyed, being the only legacy that What remains of this are the sweet citizens (cryogenic of their own free will [As the StoryBoard indicates]) in that giant bubblegum guard, Marceline’s house (who knows how she will be after so many centuries ○▪︎○), the almost dry vegetation leaving a looking even more post-apocalyptic than it already was OOO, and finally that strange bird with the crown gems, in that kingdom of deformed and shattered ice; Will we know what happened to make OOO so destroyed? who knows ;).
Hoots: We see the life of the Cosmic Owl (ironically living as an employee in a strange hotel) and we see how his mission works, 1) a device tells him which dream to enter (it is not clear what algorithm he uses to choose which dream MUST come true), 2)The owl enters the dream with the coin, 3) The owl just needs to be there to make it “come true.” It is then when the Cosmic Owl falls in love, failing in his mission to the point of giving “the girl” access to his dream wall, she ends up entering PB’s dream (one in which he represents how PB created the sweet kingdom on her own and since her greatest desire is to be loved for her efforts), then when “the girl” in an unknown way (and almost involuntarily) changes the dream to one where the Sweet People hate her, PB is sad to be rejected and ends up submerged in a lake (remember that prophetic dreams ARE NOT LITERAL, like Jake’s dream of death where it seemed to be space but ended up being water and ended up being different), the cosmic owl takes her out and is scared because if he is there THE DREAM IN A NOT SO LITERAL WAY WILL COME TRUE, finally showing that that “girl” was Gunter, what will happen to that prophetic dream? ;).

you’re right about the Demon Bryce, he was voiced by the same guy who voiced Marty.
