Joshua and Margaret are so funny I love their accent that none of their kids have. They have a magic shapeshifter kid and a kid who’s the only one of his species that they’ve met and Jermaine is also there. That family is experts of just accepting stuff and not over thinking it.
guiseppe’s poem makes me cry every time. also, to answer two of your questions, the idea of suburbs was “reinvented” in the AT timeline. they’re at the point in their new civilization where they would pop up and KKW owns a real estate agency. secondly, as HMAN said, ice king is still alive/the host of the crown so no one will go insane while they wear it.
The poem Giuseppe wrote is about him and his daughter, the daughter dying first before him. Failing to protect her. Which presumably lead to him becoming a magic user (how people in this world able to do magic gets explained further in this season). I also love that the poem is kind of a parallel to Ice King and Marceline’s relationship. I guess what I’m really trying to say is that I love the poem.
Now you guys know the Jake lore. XD and it gets interesting. Also I love how we see Ice King develop friendships among other wizards. He really does get better from this season onwards.
The contrast of PB calmly doing a crossword puzzle while both Marceline (somewhat innocently) and especially LSP committing MANY small crimes is curious.
