fun fact: the pilot with the cool green lizard helmet is named goji, after gojira/godzilla, as this episode is based off of it

So a fun note, Embo was supposed to die in that episode, but the designers liked him so much, they convinced the writer Dave Filoni to voice him so he wouldn't kill him off

I think you guys missed the message in the episode intro to the solo Bounty Hunters episode ( no worries, I didn’t notice until my second out third watch through) the episode was an homage to Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa who George Lucas was heavily influenced by in his development as a child and film maker. The episode itself was a retelling of the 1954 film by Kurosawa called. “Seven samurai”.

Here we have probly the one time Palpatine wasn't in control. The closest he was to all his plans coming apart during the clone wars.

Yeah, it was either "Continue the act of a kind old grandpa figure with a high chance this thing will kill me" or "Use the Force to bail me out if neccesary and risk all the years of machinations and plans to go down the drain".

I love that the zilo beast dying is not treated as a victory. No one is cheering and the music is incredibly somber

I really liked this three episode format, would love for this to be the norm, especially since a lot of the better arcs are three parters.

Final comment, I promise: I love your reaction, and the next arch is a banger! We are finally going to see Clone Wars D-Day!
204-208 is a 5 episode arch. You could do 1,2,2 or 3,2 or 2,1,2.
209-210 is a 2 EP arch.
211 is a solo EP Arch.
212-214 is a 3 EP Arch.
220-222 is a 3 EP Arch Finally to S2.
Season 2 is one of my favorite seasons!

What I want to say is I understand the frustration. But only this small batch in Season 2 and the beginning of the series were the only moments you had to jump around. The rest of the season is smooth sailing. The first half of Season 3 (the first 11 episodes, aka 6 videos) is the biggest jumping around. (I placed this paragraph first in case you don't want to read everything)
I understand that jumping around is frustrating, but I believe the frustration is not from bouncing around but from the comments. That affects your viewing experience because you have made 16 videos covering 30 episodes and 1 movie. Your first video had an episode from S1 and S2, which was important context for the movie. Then, you watched the film as your second video. The third video you recorded had 2 episodes from S3, which were important context for 2 arches in S1, establishing Hevy and Ryloth. After that, you had 11 videos in release order from episode 1 S1 till episode 2 S2. You only skipped 1 episode in S1 because you watched it before the Animated Film. In 1 video, you accidentally watched 2 episodes backward (Jedi Jar Jar & Fisto vs Grevious) - for some reason, you only watched 1 episode last week and 3 episodes this week.

The Zillo definitely has some force sensitivity because he knew EXACTLY where Palpatine was on Coruscant the moment he broke free

The Zillow Beast Arch affects Palpatine, Anikin, Windo, and Padme. It shows Palpatine's cunning manipulation skills and establishes him as a significant threat. Seeing this arch adds more weight when Palpatine returns this season. We see how Windo navigates through challenges and his values. Seeing this sooner in the season helps with pacing in the show for Windo, and two arches flow more smoothly. We see Ani's POV on politics, the war, and Jedi values. In addition, Padmae's view on politics and, finally, the dynamic Ani and Padmae had when navigating their war duties and relationship which is important to establish before later archs.

Bounty Hunters is a stand-alone story that could have been seen in your last reaction. From what I remember/tell, it helps with passing and character consistency. Since it's a one-off, it's better to watch this episode sooner so it doesn't disrupt the flow of the last few arcs. Secondly, Obi and Asoka go through a lot of development in this season. Their characters change a lot, so having this episode after all that development doesn't feel consistent.
