Honestly, the more I think about this show, I feel like the mystery gang is just a secret quad relationship with a dog XD

I have no idea why I’ve never watched this show before it is literally so funny Fred and Velma, by far my favorites Velma is a total savage in the show, and Fred is so stupid It makes me laugh. Also, the monster designs are way better than any of the other series.

I love all the nods that are being made to the classic, "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" The bats flying out of the cave, very reminiscent of the intro from back in the day. Just the small details of Fans who are now artists.

I'll admit, I really like Fred...but Velma brings a level of savagery that I love.

This is one of the best shows from my childhood. I was actually thinking about rewatching it when I saw your post! It definitely is a darker take, especially the finale of the show, but I think it’s the best version! My dad made me watch ALL the Scooby-Doo stuff, and we both think Mystery Inc. is amazing. It’s definitely goofy but I enjoy it a lot!

Mystery Inc is like Series Of Unfortunate Events in that it's anachronistic. There are type writers and computers, smart phones that look like flip phones, it's all part of the show's vibe
Also Derrick J. Wyatt worked on both this show and Ben 10, and did a lot of the monster/alien designs if I'm not mistaken, so that's why you thought of brainstorm when the crab monster showed up
