  1. yo its so wild how many of the same voice actors are in these Cartoon Network shows. Alice has the same VA as Starfire and Princess Bubblegum, The butler dude at the end’s VA voices The Highbreed Supreme from Ben 10AF, the broccoli cartoon character is Ice King and i think Spongebob. idk its just fun for me since I saw most of these shows when they were first airing when I was a kid and didn’t make any vocal connection between the characters but now i cant unhear it.

  2. It will never not bother me how Velma of all people just becomes a squeeling brat all of a sudden in the cemetery. Literally last episode they had her learn not to try to change people. Like, huh?! You just ended that episode with him speaking up for himself and her being a bit sad, but ultimately okay with it, dancing the night away.
Now she’s kicking over tombstones, going apeshit. And to make it worse, they have Shaggy give in and when he does, she’s suddenly placated like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum.
Instead of Velma, the straight shooter, calming herself after getting her frustrations out, instead of Velma rebuffing his attempt to placate her and acknowledging his disinterest, instead of Velma walking away or storming off, instead of Velma resigning herself to the idea that Shaggy doesn’t want to make a spectacle…. We get Velma acting like a brat.
Velma. The direct one. The”Straight Man” of the group comes across as a manipulative brat.
Have her be mad, have her frustrated, have her scream, punching the air. Fine. Get that anger out. She said that if he didn’t want to go, for him to just say so.
But to then make her ECSTATIC at what was obviously a desperate attempt to calm her rage by agreeing with her? Hell. No. That switch flip was insane. There was no talking about it. That actually came across as manipulative for a second. Toxic even. And it feels so isolated in time. Like, this one moment just sticks out in my head for Velma. It feels so out of character compared to the rest of the series. I cannot comprehend it.

    1. Honestly, if Shaggy wasn’t hiding their relationship maybe Velma wouldn’t get to this level of abusive with him. Like I get Velma is kinda mistreating him but he’s mistreating her for his dog and it’s getting to her.
