Flim Flam was in The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo show in the mid 80s along with Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne and Scrappy. Vincent Van Ghoul was in it too.

They're finishing the series right? And will the series eventually be brought to silver rank?

Scrappy is a hated character in the history of Scooby-Doo. It got to a point where it became a running joke that the gang hate him and want nothing to do with him. They've even shown a bit where the gang flat out abandoned him and drove off which I think happened in the live movie. At first I think the scrappy hate was a joke but blew up into being outright Canon among all versions of Scooby-Doo. Lol
Also yeah Angel being one of the missing OG mystery inc kids was obvious for an obvious reason. First picture of them, she was torn out. Then we see a complete picture and the torn bit was a black girl who was basically the "velma" of the group. Literally there hasn't been any other major black character in this show so it added up pretty fast given how helpful Angel has been with the gang this entire time.

It’d be really funny if episode 21 just started with Angel Dynamite just going “no. It’s not me.” Also I’m a little disappointed that Nightfright wasn’t the little Eskimo boy.

The thing about Scrappy was a lot of fans considered him the worst part of the franchise

Don’t read this comment if you haven’t seen the second episode of this part and are just watching along with the boys. Basically just a spoiler warning for the video, cause I respect the twist too much to accidentally ruin it for someone else. I get goosebumps from it every time and it’s the one that REALLY hooks people from this point onward.
This is probably the coolest reveal of the show, cause it’s the first big one that catches a lot of viewers off guard. Her being Cassidy Williams is SO much more of a satisfying twist than her being Mr E.
That being said, if you go back to episode 4 when the gang first got the picture of the original mystery incorperated, you’ll notice Cassidy’s picture is torn out of the group photo while the other 4 are clearly visable. But this isn’t because they were keeping the 5th person removed from the picture a secret since she’s in all other images of the group after this one. Because that was the one and only instance of her photo being omitted from everyone else, I’m convinced this is because the writers didn’t want to make the twist super obvious from the get go by having both her and a picture of her younger self in the same scene. Sure, she doesn’t look anything like the way she did when she did back then, but she does stand out amongst… let’s call it Crystal Cove’s shortage of ethnic diversity.

Yeah if they had a few more black characters that would have made it harder to figure out.

Fun fact: Vincent Price (Vincent Van Ghoul) has been a Scooby-Doo character since the 80s! This is his second but not final appearance in the franchise. Flim Flame is also from that show
And Scrappy was pretty unpopular when this episode came out, which is why he's in the hall of villains
