I also hate how much this film regressed everyones character. Where Bob would support his wife in the first film but now he's petty and jealous about his wife being a hero. Ugh

I'm jealous of the fact none of you guys caught on to the fact when she was first introduced, the brother's name is Winston Deavor, and the sister's name is Evelyn. As in, Evelyn Deavor - Evil Endeavor. I spent the whole rest of the movie expecting the twist the first time I saw this.

A113 is a easteregg in almost all Pixar movies and several Disney films. It's a inside joke developed by the alumni of the California Institute of the Arts. I remember it being the license plate of the car in the first Toy Story. They don't try to hide it either. Once you notice this, it's easy to spot even when you watch a movie for the first time.

There technically are more shorts on Disney plus. I can't fermenter the name of it at the moment, but they have a mini series of shorts from each world.

Super heroes being out of work is so unrealistic. You're telling me the world governments aren't adding supers to their military(s)? Yeah right.

If the next movie ages up the kids then I dont think Jack-Jack will keep all 17+ powers he had as a baby lol probs just 2-3. I bet tho he keeps at least the human torch powers because of his character design (his little candle flame hair). Now, onto another peak Pixar movie Finding Nemo please!

Y’know what the Jack-Jack shorts remind me of? The intro of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Of Rodger trying to keep that baby from killing itself.

Just to clarify. These movies take place like in the mid to late 1900s, this was a time when the men had to work their asses off for no appreciation to support their families while the women spent all the time at home. For the time period Bob feels worthless cause he has no job and he has none of the experience with direct parenting that comes from being a stay at home parent. And now Helen is getting praise for saving a train snd all this other work when him saving a train led to the superheroes being sued until they became illegal.

15:19 I have had this exact argument at least 20 times in my adult life. There’s a big difference between something being legally wrong vs morally wrong. My argument is always one word: Slavery.

Yes Ruff, if you disconnect the knuckles on a train, the air hoses disconnect and the automatic breaking system applies on both cuts of the train. Knuckles breaking apart happens more often then you'd think. Just thought I'd let ya know 😉

One thing about Bob's reaction to Helen and the train, it's less him being jealous and more him being bitter. Remember, in the first movie, Bob also saved a train and instead of being thanked, he got sued and had his life turned upside down soon after.

I'm glad you guys liked the movie; I feel like I've only heard people really dislike it. It's not perfect obviously, and the first is a classic, but it has some pretty good moments. Plus, while there is a twist villain, it's not in the last five minutes ala Frozen, and they are just the villain for the rest of the final act.
