Can you guys please react to TMNT 2007 movie and A Silent Voice?
I really appreciate the perspective of this reaction. The quality rise in the writing wasn’t as notable for me the first time I watch because I was jaded by the ttg series. Without the context of that terrible time, this is actually just a really good movie, and it was nice to be able to think like that. This makes teen titans go look pretty good. But now I’m a bit pissy that they are capable of making the writing less brain dead and just don’t. The older show being here didn’t souley make this good. The fact it’s got movie budget visuals weren’t fully responsible. It was just that they managed to write the characters and story in a fun and cool way. You don’t need crossovers and movie money put effort into a script…
If the movies were how TTG is as a series, it'd have way less hate but the show is super mean spirited and certain humor you guys didn't like (Raven's foot) is prevalent in the show above the funnier jokes. It's the kind of show where only the 1 minute clips are the most noteworthy.
I have very very mixed feelings about Teen Titans Go. Yes I do think it can be funny at times and there are actually some decent episodes, I even watched it while it was airing for a few months.
But the problems I have with the show is that it's tooo funny, it is action packed but it doesn't feel the same as Teen Titans. I know that not all superhero shows should be super serious but the seriousness and the really good plots are how Teen Titans worked, how Young Justice is amazing, how the Justice League animated series is addicting, and so many other superhero shows. They have that balance of knowing when to take it serious or goofy.
Another thing is that the Teen Titans left the show on a pretty bad cliffhanger and the next thing we got was this. You can understand how many of us Teen Titans fans felt very disappointed and upset that they basically spit on our faces with these easy to hate (at least to me) version of the beloved characters. I do try and give a bunch of reboots a shot but a lot of them just ruins what was already build before. This is pretty okay at best and meh at worst.
The only reboot I do like and would encourage those who don't care about reboots ruining characters is the 2016 Ben 10. Because, yes I'm bias, and besides Max, most of the characters are pretty decent and the gimmicks that they have in the show are really dope. Sorry about my rant about Teen Titans then reboots. I just wanted to give my thoughts on reboots as a whole while talking about this reboot.
I think Cartoon Network's overreliance on the show also doesn't help.I don't personally hate TTG (although I much prefer the original) but it's kinda crazy how TTG is just th thing that play on CN for 90% of the timeslots and there are like 2 other shows that are actually newer.
Except that the writers and actors have repeatedly said that " Things Change " Wasn't a cliffhanger and was the definitive conclusion of the series. They like the ending and have stated that they wouldn't want to ruin it with a continuation
tbh it would really hilarous for them going into ttg blind just let them experience it lol
teen titans go between tis terrible caricatures of loved characters, utter low brow baby school humor, terrible storylines and general nitpickign back at fans for not worshiping the thing thats been on repeat for 10 hours a day on cartoon network since 2014 despite nobody who actually loved 2003 wanting it is why we hate it.

id really enjoy a teen titans go reaction, there's pretty much no story but its unironically a really funny episodic show. if yall've enjoyed the humor from this movie and the teen titans go movie, I'd highly recommend TTG.
The reason why ppl used to hate teen titans go is because it was on all the time so while we were waiting for more Steven Universe and adventure time we were just getting TTG. Also there’s the immature adults who were whining abt how the og is better and blah blah blah. In all fairness tho TTG is very fun to watch and the music in it goes hard for no reason

The Nerf gun is a little annoying. It's okay for a short time, but after that, it's too much for an hour-long movie.
I would love to see you guys watch the show, or at least maybe just like a few popular episodes from each season
Honestly it bugs me how much the show rags on people who don't like the show, I feel like actively alienating and antagonizing an audience never works out well. It's like that actress in the new star wars series calling people racists because the show has terrible writing and ruins the lore from the original movies
If they rag on the audience that hates the show then that’s for the complainers and haters to be salty about, if you wanna hate on a show then don’t watch it, they’re joking on haters because of how much they hate and that’s honestly yalls problem because it’s hilarious to me ngl😂

…..what? People were actually being racist to her. That’s what led to her calling them racist in the first place. The actors who played Finn and Rose in the sequels were also the victims of racism. Don’t act like her claims were unfounded.
While I don't doubt that there's some weirdos that hate the character because of their skin color, it's very much a minority. Most of the hate comes from the awful writing that modern Star Wars tends to have.

I love how every time the teen titans go series has a crossover. The other series hates the characters from TTG. The powerpuff girls hated them, the og titans hate them...
I think the bit about not having a crossover for a year was a refrence to the annual Arrowverse Crossovers

Pretty much all the Teen Titans Go movies except for the theatrical one are all crossovers, there are even crossover episodes in the actual TV show. It being the same cast also helps since they are having fun voicing Go versions of them too

Btw the “T E E N T I T - A N S” that isn’t as good as the original actually comes from the original theme song. It’s a full song that you can listen to written and performed by Puffy Ami Yumi it’s just shortened for the tv intro.
