Fun Fact!
While Walt Disney didn't invent the term "sweatbox," he popularized its use within the animation industry back in his time. The term describes the small, often un-air-conditioned rooms where animators would review their work and receive feedback. The term became associated with the stressful and critical process of film review at The Walt Disney studios in Burbank, California, where animators would literally sweat under the pressure of Disney's scrutiny.
Nowadays the rooms are air-conditioned, and the term is used for just about every major animated film regardless if made by Disney or not. But especially for Animated films by both Disney and Pixar the employees still hold themselves to often unbelievably high and rigorous standards. The name was never really changed.
1:26:00 Yooooo, that's the same train from Wanted
Love this movie to bits, only problem when reacting to it is that it sucks you in! A bit quiet on the react duo today, but its worth it to know y'all thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Public school band teachers have it rough fs
I also played trombone in middle school. I thought I was being clever cause when we were told to pick instruments I was like "the trombone doesn't have any buttons or anything to worry about, it'll be easy" and turns out slide positions aren't as easy as they look, and they don't make any damn sense, XD why do the go 1, 6, 4?
I freaking LOVE this movie, and it's messages. Also Jon Batiste is a boss for his music in this as well as being the model for Joe's hands as he plays.
Ha, good luck telling the government to pay teachers more in this climate
I find it really funny that, as you two are talking about 22, Tina Fey is being credited as the voice and you miss it, only to then see a separate Tina Fey credit and say "I wonder who she voiced." That timing is hilarious.
"Just use one as a shield"
*Proceeds to do that exact thing as soon as you all look up at each other and miss it*
That was hilarious
Terry is voiced by the same woman who played Moana’s grandmother.
Can yall add TMNT live action on the watch list watched or not
love this movie one of Pixar's most underrated films alongside Onward mainly cause of covid but still good ❤️❤️
onward is SO good, its a shame its been so neglected esp in reaction spaces
RIGHT??!! Onward and Soul are SO damn good
The first frame of the video is a spider man reaction
I once had my music teacher throw a whole student desk at us that was wild asf.
great, undervalued film! hope erik is hanging in there❤️
I was a colorguard kid in high school, and man the people who just didn't care were always the worst. Ill take someone who is bad but cares, over careless talent any day.
But yeah the "don't do what you love full time" philosophy I've heard a lot from mechanics too.
