I've always wanted to play this since it has my Favourite character, Blaze the Cat as Sir Persival. Her story is that she rules over the Sol dimension and the Sol emeralds as Queen. Shes also Pyrokinetic which is why all her attacks were covered in flames in this game.

Lol didn't expect a Sonic cutscenes journey but I'm down. Not that many sonic games are really all about their stories unfortunately. Maybe y'all could do Sonic Unleashed or Sonic and the Secret Rings.
Truth be told Sonic games are probably the worst games to do a cutscenes journey on as they hardly have any story in the first place. This time around y'all got lucky. Sonic and the Black Knight as well as Sonic and the Secret Rings are a part of the "Sonic Story Book Series" so they do have a bit more story to them. I think the most story you're likely to get is out of Sonic frontiers or Sonic 2006. And obviously sonic 2006 is... Infamous 😭 either way I hope y'all have a good one and remember to keep doing you!
You gotta react to Sonic and The Secret Rings cutscenes. It’s a resemblance to Aladdin. The game came out a year before the Black Knight. The era around the time the two games that came out was called the Storybook era.

Also you may be better off playing Sonic Generations then watching the cutscenes. There's not much story to it and the game is short. Like less then 5 hours long. It actually is a really good entry point to the Sonic games.
Pretty much every single Sonic game takes place in the same timeline. With the only exceptions being the Sonic Boom games which are spinoffs of the show of the same name. Sonic Mania which takes place in it's own separate timeline which crosses over with the main timeline in Sonic Forces and Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood which legally can't be canon due to a copyright lawsuit involving a former Archie Sonic comic writer.
Actually Mania was confirmed to now be part of the main timeline I believe. It ain't a separate timeline no more.

In all honesty, I actually would prefer if y’all reacted to Sonic Unleashed cutscenes movie. Sonic Generations doesn’t REALLY have that many cutscenes with a story, it’s VERY bare bones. Sonic Unleashed has a lot more substance.
I second this the sonic unleashed cutscenes are nice and I would LOVE to see their reaction to the first cutscene that happens. It has amazing animation.

Really hope you watch the cutscenes for Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). It's legitimately one of my favorite stories from the Sonic games. The problem is that the actual gameplay is just broken and buggy as hell, but you guys wouldn't have to experience that just watching the cutscenes.

Sonic the secret rings and sonic unleashed you need to watch.
The new character you saw in game her name is Blaze the cat, you meet her for the first time in Sonic rush ds game.
In Sonic rush Blaze is from a another dimension she is summoned to Sonic universe through the space-time tear, in her own dimension she is a princess of the Sol empire.
From birth Blaze possessed the inherent power to control flames.
Sonic Generations doesn’t really have any cinematic. You’d probably be better off checking out Sonic Adventure 1 + 2 or Unleashed.
Also Percival was Blaze the cat from the Rush series .
