[#215]

I just wanted to mention because I know it’s easy to forget, but originally Jonathan Majors’ Character(Kang) was supposed to be the big bad for Doomsday, and despite the fact that he was fired from Marvel, and that Marvel did a full pivot to Dr. Doom, the multiversal aspects that were set up in Loki, Ant-Man: Quantumania, and Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness were all supposed to lead to Kang and The Kang Dynasty(now Doomsday). He even ties into the Fantastic Four as he’s originally one of their villains and is the descendent of Reed Richards & Doom.

I bring this up because people like to dismiss the Kang angle since he’s no longer in the universe, but the set up for him is still there, it’s just been given to Dr. Doom now.

Completely agree with this. Just because there was a change in course, doesn't mean Marvel is just going to hope we forget about Kang. They will have a way to course correct. If I'm wrong, well . . . the buildup for Kang was still fun in my opinion.

@roskuel heavy on this, honestly hoping that they use what they did in Loki further down the line after Doomsday, that way, we get a bit more of Doom & Richard’s context before we get into Kang as a villain, then make him worse than Doom.
I don’t understand why they dropped Kang as the villain to begin with, considering the fact that not all variants are played by the same actors. Why not introduce a new actor to play Kang?(though personally, I hope they rehire Jonathan Majors after Doomsday)
