Garfield naming Jason among those he has loved and lost makes me happy and sad. On one hand, that confirmed they had been friends during Jason's time as Robin. On the other hand, he had to suffer that pain of losing a good friend.
00:19:22 yaboyrhoshi said the exact same thing 🤣 🤣.
its believed theorized that this is the actually Wally because he looks like a ghost while superboy's hallucinations are in colour
Like I said, a couple good moments. They spent too much time on side stories(no spoilers) this season. The meat and potatoes are coming up soon and should have been the entire season to be real. We took a 4 episode detour with the assassins, this doesn't add much of anything to the overall season plot. We spent like 3 or 4 episodes under the water, again doesn't add anything to the overall story. To a degree you could say the same about Zatanna's episodes(although these were the cooler episodes of the three side stories).
I'm not saying they're bad. But I am saying that the unfocused narrative for half of the season is PROBABLY why they didn't get a season 5.
I don't think this season supposedly having "unfocused narratives" played any part in it not getting a season 5 right away lol.
Valid. They tell Young Justice a bit like a comic series where all the imprints get episodes in order. Doesn't translate quite as well as comics where you can pick and choose side stories and pick the reading pace.
Buddy, I don't know how to tell you this but character growth and theme development is just as important as plot development, if not moreso. Every single arc in this season, even if it barely moves the overall plot, still moves its characters and consistent themes through the story.
Appreciate the journey.
@MRBS Exactly, if we are not invested in the characters and their development, then you're probably not gonna be super immersed in the plot or story.
Also, you mentioned appreciating the journey and I can agree. People have probably gotten to use to the format and convivence of shows that you can binge and that get to their destination quicker. However, it's possible the investment in the show isn't the same as when you have show that can allow characters to breath and chill for second.
A great example I think is ATLA and TLOK. They are both shows that I like and are very good, but I think one of the reasons why fans find the ATLA characters a bit more compelling than Korra's is because Avatar had more episode and time to get us invested in the characters including having side adventures that may somewhat feel like filler but it furthered character growths and bonds. Whereas Korra didn't always have that because it had a different focus and conflict each season with less episodes 🤔.
Nah fam, it was slow and boring. Then the ending is incredibly rushed. They could have used another six episodes to flesh it out. But by all means, sacrifice the main plot for "character growth."
The character growth is what helps people get invested in the characters and that helps makes the plot more compelling. Hence why the complaints about these side stories not adding much tend to be in the minority.
i can agree that more time could have been spent with all that happens in the finale but that doesn't make these storylines leading up to it bad in the long run 🤔.
You guys REALLY need to start paying attention to the time codes every time they pop up on screen 😂😂😂😂
To be fair most people don't 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Fake Arion getting Raiders of the Lost Ark by the lords of order is probably the funniest thing in the series for me. Vandal and Orm really thought they won just for The Lords of Order to say “nah”
29:52 Batman said that to Aqualad in Season 1
Orm’s VA is game Sonic’s VA
Sorta Stupid This Is Important Plz Read. Episode 19 which will be in your next video tou will have zero idea what I'd going on as its a episode for fans of the Green Lantern Aninated Show. I would highly recommend putting this on your watch list as its a short but enjoyable watch.
The whole thing with Arion the lords of order killed him for trying to use the crown power, what you saw come back to them was the power not Orm. The people believed in the prophecy. there are 3 people Arion, ocean-master and Mera when the crown killed Orm, they move to Mera who was fine so the people beileved that she is one in the prophecy.
plot twist, Clone Orm is the one referred to in the prophecy and meant to be High King
Ya'll gotta watch Doom Patrol after this. Brendan Frasier is hilarious as Robot Man.
weird audio desync during episode 17
luckily it only happened during the intro of 17 but still, weird that it happened
You'll notice wally was different then Megan, superman and lex. Missed it myself first watch but it's an interesting little detail
Next arc is rockets if I'm not wrong
Oh shit forgot its Sunday. Glad I re watched this season yesterday lol.
