  1. did anyone else notice that one dude from the Gammas (the one on the right, when they’re dragging goofy away for his initiation) looks like sasquatch from the first movie but mostly hairless

  2. some future movie suggestions !! :o)

Okko’s Inn , Aquamarine , The Aristocats , The Powerpuff Girls Movie , Pan’s Labyrinth , Enchanted , Confessions Of A Shopaholic , Bride Wars

  3. Its weird for Pete to say he’s a free man. In the goof troop show he has a wife and daughter too. But they never appear in the goofy movies which are based on goof troop

  4. I grew up with this movie, and it definitely affected my lesbian tastes. But god this and the emperor’s new groove were major movies in my childhood. And I didn’t see the first one till like a few hours ago. I love that watching this as an adult with a good grasp on my sexuality, I am thrilled all the couples have such fantastic chemistry

  5. Just so you know, Goofy’s wife passed away. They mentioned her in the Goof Troop cartoon and it was only brought up once. She died from unknown causes which probably means she got sick so it’s been Max and Goofy ever since which is probably why Goofy has been so overly attached to Max this whole time. Also, they do that thing old cartoons did where there’s a parent who is always “faceless” and Goofy’s wife got the treatment. In old old Goofy shorts you’d see her body but you’d never see her face ever so she’s a mystery. All we know of that she has red hair and Max used to have red hair too in the old Goofy shorts but they changed his design to be black in Goof Troop and onwards.

    1. They actually did draw a version of Goofy’s wife that they considered to use in Goof Troop but they decided against it. They also thought of a reason why she wasn’t in the show, the reason being that her and Goofy were on a trip to the Grand Canyon with Goofy taking a picture of his wife with the Canyon behind her. He told her to take some steps back to get an even better shot but he told her once too many and she fell. Yes, this is real.

  6. Most movies come with an A story and a B story. This is one of the only movies I can think of that pulls off two A stories. Max and Goofy are given similar amounts of screen time for their lives and relatively have equal levels of importance to the plot. They both also grow as people by the end where Max learns to accept his dad while Goofy learns to live his life outside of his son. I love this movie even more than the first!

  7. I wouldn’t mind seeing you three react to the Goof Troop series. It’d be great to see the three of you all’s reactions to the series that lead to these two movies ^^
Movie wise…how about Batman Vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Whether it’s you three or you three plus Boom, I’d like to see the reaction ^^

  8. Ruff! Why did you skip the credits animations? They’re so fun.
So, this was actually written by different people than the first one, which is why Roxanne was absent and some of the story hit similar beats.
That said, the first one is still my favorite Disney movie, but I do really live this one as well.

    1. Yeah they’re cats. If you look at Pete back in the rubberhose/Steamboat Willie era, Pete’s old design really shows more cat features. Which makes sense considering he was associated with Mickey more before going over to Goofy. Mouse v Cat, Dog v Cat.
If you’ve played KH2, you can see OG Pete design in Timeless River area.

  9. We do know PJ’s mom and Pete’s likely ex-wife as well as PJ’s younger sister. The movies are sequels to Goof Troop and in Goof Troop, Pete’s wife and his daughter are also present in the show. It’s theorized Pete and her got divorced between Goof Troop’s end and A Goofy Movie.
