Looking back at it now years later, I really dont like how the backstory episode was handled. The morality is all kinds of screwed because they are taking such massive shortcuts by just expecting of you to apply your opinions of these characters in the original time-line to this altered one despite many crucial factors being different. Yes, in the end it comes together well enough, but everything leading up it is doing the barest minimum (if at all) to actually earn that pay-off. Especially when it comes to Jack who, in my opinion, suffers greatly under this reckless writing.

Thank goodness, Danni can make up for it in the next episode

Just to let you know. We never ever see Danni again in the show. It was said by the show creator that after the finale she was adopted by the fentons and became danny and jazzs adopted sister. But people don't like the finale of the series and they also hate butch Hartman cause he's done scummy things.The only other info we get is stuff Hartman mentioned about the college years of the characters that never got made

    Oh right, D-stabilized. To be honest I don't remember too much about season 3 except the finale. Nickelodeon had that weird phase of ending shows

i love Dani! She's such a cool character. Also, this is like the 3rd show you've watched where i realize there's an adult who is weirdly obsessed with a teenage boy...why is this such a theme in these kids show??

Well Vlad should actually be completely fine in the Ghost Zone, it was already established with Walker that humans in the Ghost Zone can't be touched

These are crazy two episodes and they could have easily made them specials. Way back when this aired, I thought Dani wasn't gonna make it. I had to clap with you guys, too. XD This reaction had me so hyped!

Vlad is super creepy but there is something fascinating that gives me empathy despite these bad actions. He has the power to do anything he wants, except for one thing: a family. He wants to make Danny and Jack suffer but at the same time he will not hesitate to adopt Danny or Jazz. He can kill Jack at any time (for example when Jack goes to bed or he could hire Skulker to work as a team), but he mainly seeks to humiliate Jack and try to steal his family, he wants to make Jack suffer but he will never kill him. Vlad will do his best to help Danny in a weird way when his family and friends pass away. Ironically, if Vlad had treated Dani as he would with Danny, he would have created the loving family he wanted so much.

  Actually I think Vlad has tried to kill Jack on some occasions. In his first appearance he sent the vultures after him and then in Maternal Instincts he sent all those ghost animals after him 🤔.

  I mention all this, but he’s still a villain. He desired Maddie as a prize, not caring at all about her feelings. To the point that in the alternate timeline where he does marry her, he treats her as a trophy wife, trying to force her to be what she's not. He wants to turn Danny into his surrogate son, ignoring that Danny loves his father (even if he's embarrassed about it) and won't turn on his family.

I liked the foreshadow (even though we pretty much already knew it) of the hulking clone being Danny’s clone when Danny said ‘You look like me on a bad day.’

Also I think they implied the gooping problem for Dani when they showed her eat a massive amount of food. It was probably restoring her energy to power her body (like how The Flash has to consume a ton of food to keep his body sustained since he burns through so many calories)

You guys should definitely read the Danny Phantom novel that came out last year called a Glitch in Time! It’s a very good read and adds on to the series and answers questions that were left unanswered in the series! There’s a new one coming out next year and I assume more will be on the way so hopefully you guys’ll give it a read!

  I enjoyed the book myself, except for the weird empathy they tried to give dark danny. Dude literally traveled through time to kill his own family and we are supposed to believe he's sad that he's lonely?

  They probably will after they finish the series so they don’t spoil themselves. I think they did the same for Avatar (I might be wrong)

  True I think that was just lazy designing on their part because Vlad’s form I’m pretty sure was based on his personality. Jack’s definitely wouldn’t be the same
