The bald guy had a point. They can't control their powers, they could do a lot of damage if they went out. Plus there's also the villains literally wanting to kidnap them again and make a team. Could you imagine escaping from people that wanna help you just to be captured and used by the people who kidnapped and tortured you in the first place?

I think the only indication of blue beetle becoming controlled is how he acts in combat. Like the rebooted scarab is very good at mimicking Jamie, but in combat his bloodlust is exactly like the scarab. He wants to just annihilate everything

To be fair about newt hitting the emergency alarm, he legit almost blew up a city and would’ve killed a flash, he’s worried they’re gonna go out and kill people on accident like he did. Bro is traumatized

Yeah, I still gotta say, it was extremely stupid of Dick not to have Connor and M'gann be in on their plan. I love the guy and I'm sure he assumed Kaldur would be able to handle himself, but I feel like he would be smart enough to know M'gann is a wild card that shouldn't be underestimated. Yeah, he didn't know about her Mind Ripping tendencies, but he's experienced what her power could do with the training exercise that went wrong in Season 1. I feel like he should have known that if M'gann thought Kaldur killed Artemis and had an encounter with him, she would not have gone easy on him. And M'gann and Connor still find out regardless and nothing happens, and I still don't know what he thought would happen, they would blab? Again, I love Grayson, but this was one of the stupidest decisions he ever made in this show.

His worries were probably due to m'gann not being the best under pressure at this point, and connor might outright oppose the plan, plus their break up and stresses, along with unlike the other 3 involved, they still regularly led teams and having to have them worry about behind the scenes plans while leading might put their teams who dont know the plan at risk

They were also the two who actually did go behind the backs of the team due to blackmail (Queen bee with M'gann and Lex with Connor) so that probably added to the worries

Those 4 kids were actually based on the Super Friends from the 70's. Virgil Hawkins (Static) was an analogue to Black Vulcan. Eduardo Dorado was an analogue to El Dorado. Tye Longshadow was an analogue to Apache Chief. And Asami Kozumi was a reference to the Samurai

True. They were a homage to the original characters created for the super friends tv show but with actual character depth and more progressive character designs than the ones from that og show
