I am so glad I had Icecream for this one. To eat my pain. I Do tend to remember a lot of details even if I watched a series a long time ago. When I started watching this I think they weren't done yet with the series. I still remeber a lot. Not episodes but plotpoints and stuff. My Family jokes about me often cause I qoute from Movies and series a lot. But I know that that is not normal. I don't know how people can think you would fake reactions. It doesn't make sense to me. If it were for money you would dramatise it way more. This episode was heartbraking. I love Damon so much.
Damon has admitted his feelings to Elena directly but compelled her to forget him doing it (S2-E8). He also no longer denies it when people bring it up, he just deflects lol

I still mean what I said though, telling it to someone and compelling them to forget is running away from the truth in a way, I’m waiting for him to be up front and honest about it with someone who isn’t compelled or about to be killed lol
Such a good episode. One of my favorites.
