You know what I just realized? Master Rancisis, the Jedi Master on the Council with the really long hair and fingernails, has the same VA as Soloman Muto from Yu-Gi-Oh 😂

The theory of everything turning out different if Qui-Gon had lived is 1000% accurate. Obi-Wan was an excellent Jedi. Smart, brave, even tempered, but he wasn't a teacher. Anakin wasn't like a son to him, he was like a brother. That's an important distinction because it says a lot about their relationship. One of the reason's Anakin chafed at his apprenticeship was because he saw Obi-Wan as someone who was holding him back. He grew older, he grew arrogant, and he worked alongside Obi-Wan, and saw himself more as his equal. In contrast, Palpatine became a father figure to Anakin. He praised Anakin for his accomplishments, listened to him, took his side, and tried to help him. Under Qui-Gon, this wouldn't have happened. Qui-Gon was a more experienced teacher, and he was the closest thing the Jedi had regarding recklessness and disobedience in a Jedi. Qui-Gon had that teacher's aura, combined with the rebel mystique that Anakin would have been drawn too. Qui-Gon knew his stuff, the Council just didn't like his tactics or his "conspiracies" if you would. He would have been the perfect teacher for Anakin...another outsider. He would have a master that understood him. Meanwhile, he would have Obi-Wan, an older brother. That distinction is really important because it gives Anakin a real friend and confidant he can talk too without the baggage that would stem from a master/pupil relationship.

I'm just gonna say it. I still think that the most badass and truly in universe star wars tattoo you can get are the blue marks on anakin. No vader helmet or jedi or sith logo, or ship. That design on it's own would look cool af even without knowing what it is from.

I'm not even a star wars fan, but I consider any star wars related stuff that came out after Disney took over and made the new trilogy non canon. And everything else before that is canon

Nah, Andor, S1 of Mando, Visions and a few of the videogames are better than a lot of the old stuff. The other live action shows and movies have been kind of bad.

Also the holiday special? There is a lot of Star Wars out there and I personally do not really care for canon with Star Wars, may be due to me not being that big of a Star Wars fan either, so I just enjoy the things I like and do not care for the rest such as Disney's stuff.

So a really cool fact about the 2008 clone wars, George Lucas but a lot of his own money into it, I think more than double the budget from CN if not more, and also pushed to develop new ways of doing 3D animation while creating it, which is one of the reasons why the early seasons will look a bit rough

So if you want a star wars game that feels like this, either the original star wars battlefront 1 and 2.Or star wars battlefront 2 from 2018..

DO NOT play the 2015 battlefront it's pretty ass in comparison too the others

Despite not being canon anymore, I do like that there’s a bunch of minor details from Revenge of the Sith explained here. Like why does Grievous cough all the time? Why does Anakin’s robot hand look different than it did in Attack of the Clones? Where did Anakin get his scar? Minor things that this show explained that are now complete mysteries. Granted there’s probably books and comics because it’s fucking Star Wars but I ain’t fucking rea

While this show isn't canon anymore, the way in which Palpatine is abducted has been more or less brought into canon.

To answer Ruff's early question about whether Anakin would have fallen if Qui Gon lived to train him: No, he would not have.

The duel where he dies is canonically called 'The Duel of Fates' because Anakin's fate was decided by him dying. There's a huge lore dump along with it. It all boils down to Obi-Wan Wan is amazing but was never meant to or equipped to train Anakin correctly.

Volume 2 here is much more structured and focused on story than volume 1 as volume 1 was more like a bunch of shorts pieced together while volume 2 has 2 major storylines happening at the same time. If you have the list for The Clone Wars I would recommend looking at it constantly. There are points in there where you continue going in order of release then suddenly it skips an episode that you return to much later. The Clone Wars, 3d, is actually canon with the rest of Star Wars and is more story focused in comparison. I think you'll enjoy it as much as this show

Like most "cartoons" watched on the channel, Clone Wars (2008-2013, 2020) episodes are out of "canon order". On Disney+ they are ordered by release date but the most *highly recommended* way to watch is the Chronological Order. The list can be found on the Star Wars website or really anywhere on the internet lol

Watching in release order is fine. They can piece it together. It’s supposed to be out of order because it’s meant to mirror how news got to ordinary citizens in both World Wars(which is what the Clone Wars basically are). In pieces. In disparate, out of context pieces. That’s why the intros all have that narrator. He’s supposed to be the guy reporting the war’s progress to the general public.

I hope when you guys get to the 2008 Clone Wars you consider watching it chronologically (including the movie) instead of release order.
