Yes, the movie is after season 3. Stephen Hilinburg ( the creator)was going to make the movie the finale of the entire show. But Nickelodeon wanted the show to keep going because of its popularity. And I don’t know if this is confirmed or true or not, but every episode after season 3 took place before the movie( even though it seems unlikely. But the show is still going on till this day.

If you guys aren’t going past the first 3-4 seasons and the first movie. If you are interested, you can watch some of the special episodes which consist of “Truth or Square”, “Atlantis Squarepantis”, and “Spongebobs Big Birthday Blowout”.(this isn’t all of them but to me they are some pretty notable ones. And there is also another movie I recommend checking out is Spongebob: Sponge out of Water.

If you actually do the math with Spongebob's weight lifting set up, he's ridiculously strong if you compare it to his weight. Spongebob's weight is 1 ounce, the average plush toy is about 2 pounds. Ignoring the bar, Spongebob is actually lifting approximately 64 times his own bodyweight.

Yes, it’s been 2 years. They didn’t want to waste time establishing relationships with Sandy and Mr. Krabs so after their introduction episodes we skip ahead to where they’ve known and gotten used to SpongeBob.

The "realism" of Spongebob is weird territory, because while absurdism is core to the humor, Stephen Hillenburg was also very notably a marine biologist (at least by education) and wanted the show to at least in some small part reflect how fricking weird the deep sea actually is, in a way that was subtly educational without stepping on the humor.

It's REALLY funny you guys looked up the Spongebob content of a certain type because a bunch of nsfw art from the Spongebob team got leaked very recently.

The joke at around 19 minutes is that wherever they take him, Squidward says that it's "too ..." something that makes it not a good place, the art piece is a parady of 'La Troupe de Mademoiselle Églantine' by artist Toulouse-Lautrec, and the 'Tou' in his name sounds like 'too'
