not animated series, but I recommend the IDW Sonic comics, they're based on the games' canon and has great storylines with the cast

Since you guys went Straight to Sonic Adventure 2 you didn't get to see Big & Amy in action,

Some of the games are ok in any order like Black Knight & Unleashed because they're pretty standalone adventures,

But people have been saying Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the hedgehog, then Sonic 06 because those ones are in order and more connected

So glad to have this last batch come out. Very ready to witness your reaction to this epic battle.

Like Ivan said, Sonic Adventure is a good way to get the story of Big's introduction, as well as a little more into some of Eggman's forces, and the start of Amy's evolution from a damsel in distress to actually being a hero Sonic Heroes is a good one to continue the overarching story started by Sonic Adventure 2.

I'm not sure what Sonic video you're going to react next, but I noticed that the channel that did the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle video that you reacted it had the Sonic Adventure DX too

Sonic Adventure 1/Adventure DX would introduce you into Knuckles lore about the echidna tribe and it's the one that introduce Big and Froggy on the franchise

If you want to continue with Shadow Lore, the next game that continues his story is Sonic Herpes

And if you're interested on Silver the hedgehog, he's introduced on Sonic the hedgehog/Sonic 2016/Sonic 06, But I warn you that there are weird stuff in that game
