Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, & Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)
As everyone else as said, if you want to start playing Sonic games, you gotta start with Sonic Adventure 1+2. They're kinda peak when it comes to story that the plots of those games keep getting referenced back to in other games. SA2 is also where Shadow and Rouge were introduced. SA1 introduced Big the Cat. Other recommendations are Sonic Generations, Sonic Colors. Sonic Frontiers is also pretty good, though has weird tonal issues. Sonic games never quite got back to the peak that was SA2 though.
Any idea what Ruff is walking on? It looks like a smaller footprint than treadmills I have seen.
you should definitely play sonic adventure 2
Considering all the sonic stuff lately it would be hilarious if y'all watched the sonic adventure 2 fandubs
if you want to learn about shadow ruff you guys gotta play sonic adventure 2 and shadow the hedgehog
also sonic heroes, sonic unleashed, sonic riders, and sonic and the 7 rings
If you want a sonic game to play that will really fill you in (and is beloved by most of the fanbase), then I recommend both Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.
Love seeing Erik pop in for a little while there. That was one of the most frantic outros I think I've seen on this channel. Glad you're enjoying. I do hope this keeps up, especially if it can become a group reaction at some point. Really glad you seem to be enjoying. And yes, Rusty is the best.
There a new sonic game is coming out in october. It's called Sonic x Shadow Generations. If you're interested, I could try playing it when it comes out but I think it be better if you guys watched the cutscenes instead of play the games.

If you want to know more about Shadow you guys should watch “Project Shadow” it’s a 30 min Fan film about him. It’s available for free on YouTube
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1KhKd1bj7G0Watch that video, it will give you all the info you need about Shadow the Hedgehog.
Some Shadow the Hedgehog facts. He was created by Dr. Eggman's grandfather Professor Gerald Robotnik on the space colony ark. Gerald wanted to create a cure ill granddaughter Maria Robotnik. Shadow had Black Doom DNA inside of him which allows Shadow's internal organs to naturally produce chaos energy. Shadow is able to use chaos energy to preform moves like chaos spear, chaos blast, and chaos control. Chaos Control allows Shadow to teleport and stop time. Shadow has those rings on his arms and ankles because they are Inhibitor Rings. Shadow's needs those inhibitor rings because Shadow's body creates a massive about of chaos energy and if he didn't have them he would drain himself very fast. At Shadow's core in games he is a combat focused Sonic. There are more facts about Shadow that I can't articulate, so I suggest you watch Sonic X. That show explores more of Shadow's story.
