   I was an insufferable teenage hipster obsessed with Twin Peaks when this aired. The way my mind was blown from Scooby’s dream sequences was bananas ? I recommend watching Twin Peaks, but if you don’t, a fun fact is that the voice actor of the little man in the red room is the same actor who portrayed him in the series. It’s a fun Easter egg. Lots more TP homages coming…

   And idk about anyone else, but the cobra venom in the spine with Pericles controlling has always felt like an X-Files reference to Skinner/Krycek?

   so the whole scooby dream sequences is tribute to the show twin peaks. I don't know much else about it but that room is ingrained in my memory for other reasons

   About the supernatural or not continuity aspect: After everything was said and done I can say it became clearer to me. As for you guys now, I think the question that might help you out about the craziness is 'If the supernatural is real, then how is that affecting the normal people?' You know, the ripple effect. Just a thought.

   It’s amazing that something so normal is so close to the finale. How did we go from an evil scientist creating a horde of ravenous genetic abominations that destroy a huge amount of a city to man with gun robs people cause he’s lonely?
