9 Volumes, each Volume has a soundtrack to it, to give you more information about the characters and their state of mind through each volume, there’s character shorts before volumes 4, 5, and 6 I believe. RWBY chibi has 3? Seasons to it that start after volume 3 and their episodes are roughly 2-4 minutes long since they’re just fun little animated skits with the characters that were there to fill the void while they were working on the next volumes. The episodes definitely start getting longer at volume 3 and start becoming the average length of an anime episode in volume 4. And then there’s the World of Remnant shorts that give you a little more insight into the lore of the world. But if you’re good at picking up story details on your own while watching they aren’t necessary, but people like it when they’re reacted to since they do give you information and clarity on things that you might not know or are confused about.

They also had a 2 part crossover movie with the Justice League which should be watched as part 1 after volume 7 and part 2 after volume 9 but only if you’d like as they are only canon adjacent. This series’s story is truly amazing so I and hopefully many others hope you are here to enjoy what that story is. Lastly boom is honestly not the first one to think Blake’s bow were cat ears. We’ve grown used to telling reactors that it is a bow and not cat ears just for them to be like “I was right from the start they are cat ears! You guys were gaslighting me so much.” when the reveal happens. Also Penny is not a robot young people can just be so antisocial or socially deprived that they act like NPCs, I know this because I was exactly like this when I was younger. Lol sorry for the long rant just thought this info would be helpful. Love watching you guys go through this journey with us it means a lot.

It’s like this with just about every series you guys watch but it can be really rough with RWBY so I’ll say it now. Once you get close to finishing Volume 3 there’s going to be a lot of people trying to get you to drop the show because they think it comepletely falls off after the series’s creator Monty passed away but I really think you should pay them no mind. I’ll admit there are some undeniable growing pains in the early volumes following his death as the CRWBY had to find their footing without his guidance but there are still some great moments even in the roughest volume and I personally feel some of the most recent volumes have even surpassed some of the heights of Vol 1-3
Fortunately the crew is of the same mindset of seeing for themselves rather than what people are saying.
Also RWBY picks up for me after V3. V1-3 are great and all, but everything that comes after is what kept me interested far more than those early volumes.

– 3 Seasons (27 eps) of RWBY Chibi (do NOT touch until after Vol 3)
– 6 episodes of RWBY Fairy Tales (short side story lore) (do NOT touch until after Vol 6)
– 16 episodes of World of Remnant (basically short backstory and lore explanations) (IDK the safe spot to watch those, but probably after Vol 6???)
-And 12 eps of the Ice Queendom anime Japan made. (I haven’t seen that one all the way, but I think it’s better to just save it for after Volume 8?)
The World of Remnant series is made of companion videos that are supposed to be watched after certain episodes
episode 1 can be watched after Volume 2 episode 4
episode 2 can be watched after Volume 2 episode 7
episode 3 can be watched after Volume 2 episode 10
