God I’m going absolutely feral over this. I finally caved for diamond tier so I could watch their reaction to the v2 finale but now I need their reaction to the v3 finale like yesterday
Hoo boy now the real story of RWBY begins that I love it for. One of despaire, tragedy, and everything in between while also filled with small moments of hope, joy, and laughter. Next video will truly be a testament whether you stick around or not because the finale usually makes or breaks people. I for one hope you continue it after the finale because the story to come has so much to it it’s amazing, granted definite plot hole moments here and there (but what story doesn’t), but still an amazing show.
I know y’all usually give the finale episodes their own video but y’all PLEASE do the 3 finale episodes together. I SWEAR it’s the best way to enjoy it, like a movie.
Like most teams, Team FNKI have themed character inspirations, and in their case it’s memes. Neon Katt is based on Nyan Cat, which is pretty straightforward. Flynt Coal is a more niche Rooster Teeth-specific meme that never really broke containment, originating from Achievement Hunters Play Minecraft where they decided that the materials flint and coal, said together, sound like a cool detective name.
I don’t think y’all have caught it quite yet, but when Emerald is using her semblance there’s a slight audio cue letting you know when it’s being used. If y’all have caught it, good on ya! 😀

This is where RWBY does the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire thing, where during the final round of a tournament, someone close to the main character dies, a massive evil is unleashed, and the tone from that point onward is a lot darker.
Ahh the pain, Just have to say I feel your pain Boom, Penny was my second favorite character in the show only after Ruby, all of your reactions were great as always, and I love your discussion both during and after! Can not wait until next week!
In defense of Ironwood not showing much emotion regarding Penny – there was a lot going on there, and he’s one of the only people in the world who really understands the stakes as they are.
So, not really saying whether he is or isn’t heartless regarding her, just that it’s a bit of a conclusion jump all things considered lol

They watched all of the intros after Vol1. Now if they REMEMBER the intro, that’s another story lol
