Names don't usually have meaning except maybe some hints to personality or inspiration. Weiss does have something going on with her name. Weiss Schnee is German for white snow which is a reference to her icy personality, ice powers, and her inspiration of snow white and a lonely princess

Since you keep praising the OST, can you do the soundtrack reactions after each season and for season 1? The lyrics videos by Flynt of RWBY are really good for that.

Yeah people keep suggesting, hopefully they’ll listen. Flynt is a good resource, but he doesn’t have videos for every song and the art he uses for a song in volume 2 is pretty spoilerly.

Yeaaaah I was too but with it being a 12 episode season it makes sense to do the vids in 2 ep bunches so sadly it gets split, still hopefully the next vid isnt too far behind and we'll get the rest of dance night soon

No, the VA changes to Yuri going into V3 onwards. V2 was JJ Castillo.

Once upon a time they had weekly releases with year gaps between the volumes.The weekly releases are still a thing, but now the green light is under a much more complicated process. I don't even know if they've started working on Volume 10 yet or not, and I blame Warner Bros.

IDK what this means for that final season of RvB coming out later this year, but I hope to God Zaslav doesn't make it a tax write-off that's completely done yet never sees the light of day. Here's hoping someone buys that as well. They deserve to have their final season.

First part of my reply was:A lot of people seem interested in keeping the show alive, so there's hope at least.Here's hoping most of CRWBY are able to get re-hired with another studio so they can both HAVE A JOB and also finish the series proper on their own terms.

As far as I know they're either in the writing process for V10 or have already finished it. Either way, they're currently waiting for funding and greenlight to actually continue production.

It’s not “more complicated” they just don’t have the money to produce it themselves anymore. That’s why they went to Crunchyroll for Volume 9. They don’t have l that option now so they are currently looking for a partner to continue producing.

Their names might not all mean something, but their characters all have nods to certain popular characters from other stories... Red Riding Hood for Ruby, for example. Someone made a list before, but if you're trying to guess who might be what, there is an answer out there as an added bit of fun!
