You guys NEED to watch Community at some point. It's fantastic. It was made by Dan Harmon, who's one of the creators of Rick and Morty. You can really see a lot of the ground work for the writing in Rick and Morty being built in it, and it's a great ride.

I think they killed him off so fast to show that he is not real big bad Guy that Rick said he was And that evil morty is the one we should focus on as the big bad Guy

I think the point was that there IS no real big bad guy. Evil rick was just a guy. One Rick decided to devote an uncomfortable amount of time and effort to. To the point that actually beating him removed a bunch of his life's motivation.

Yeah. I love the Rick Prime/Evil Morty eps. But I just always thought that was gunna be like a multi-part episode, or even movie/mini-movie type deal, since Rick Prime was such a big thing and a major part of Rick C-137s whole motivation/life. So it's also kinda disappointing that he went out so fast. I was like omg! But what now? But still, was a badass episode, lol.

I know I'm a cynic and stuff. But I already got bored of evil morty and seeing his backstory just made me dislike him more

I theorize the opening of this episode happens at the same time as the oppening of Meeseeks Destroys
Basically if our Morty didn't make the deal with Rick for every 10 Adventures then he could have ended up like this

episode 5 justified the new voice actors for me far more then anything else could. despite the voices being similar I could not see Justin Roiland pulling off what Ian Cardoni did at the end of that episode. there were genuine levels of emotion in ricks voice which we haven't heard since... ever.
