Dan Harmon mentioned that he and Justin Roiland hadn't actually spoken at all since 2019 because of a falling out and that Roiland hadn't worked on the show since season 2, in part because Harmon brought in new writers from Community which irked Roiland.
Also, Ruff noted that season 3 seemed like the season where the show started leaning more into serialized storytelling, which I agree with; though I also think that's when Rick and Morty's writing style became less dependent on Roiland's chaos and improv and started strictly following Harmon's structured story circle approach. I think the change is most noticeable when you compare the Interdimensional Cable episodes with Morty's Mind Blowers and other post-season 3 anthology episodes.
Roiland's voices were amazing and can't be replaced

I love that the reaction to the episode where Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) guest stars is released a few daws after you guys started Harry Potter. Just absolute perfect timing, which if unintentional, is insane.

Okay so next season, season 7 is the season i was thinking of where Justin roiland got replaced and they had to redub the first few episodes with the new actors

I find the new Rick voice seamless, but the new Morty one definitely has some quirks. I attribute it to puberty voice so it doesn't bother me lol. Can't wait to see y'all watch season 7!

yep! i believe he hasnt worked on the story since s3, his voice acting DOES get replaced starting season seven though so youll notice that!
