   oh, also, it is confirmed canon that Rick is pansexual, one of the writers or i think maybe even Justin himself confirmed this. (and there is evidence in the show) this being said, it is heavily implied Rick was/is actually IN love with Bird Person, not just loves as a brother/friend. idk if this has been confirmed, but this ep definitely shoves that in your face hard.

   Idk why I never connected there are 2 big action figure/media franchises that take a bunch of people in multi colored suits and put them in a huge mech suit. Like I knew of voltron and power rangers but just never realized how they’re basically the same concept from different parts of the word.

   Also I can’t stop thinking Pacific Rim sortve power rangers for adults…

   Super Sentai debuted in 1975, and Voltron debuted in 1984. Power Ranger is just the American adaptation of Super Sentai. Power Rangers re-used all the fight footage and dubbed over it.

   Even though Voltron came first Power Rangers is a rip off of the Japanese Super Sentai show that's ran forever. All the footage and fight scenes from power rangers were from the Super Sentai show then they made a storyline based around the footage they had. Pretty sure it wasn't until Power Rangers Lights peed Rescue before America created their own Power Ranger.

      Not a ripoff, but an adaptation. Rif off would imply that it is illegal.

      And Lightspeed Rescue is just Kyuukyu Sentai Gogofive, so it's not original either, but ig you mean specifically the titanium ranger, wouldn't be the first time Power Rangers filmed original footage instead of just using the Sentai ones. Yeah, some seasons use more original footage and some more adapted footage, but every one has at least a little bit of both

         And just to contextualize more, Voltron itself is also an adaptation of something that as adapted from a japanese property. 

         Just like Power Rangers is adapted from Super Sentai, the original Voltron  series was an adaptation of Beast King Golion and Armored Fleet Dairugger XV
