Yall probably get the concept by now, but in case it’s missed:

Adult Beth(and by extension the Smith Family) only exists in universes where Rick who took “OG” Rick’s offer(from the “fake” backstory) and left his family(hence why Beth thinks Rick was gone for 30 years). The Ricks who didn’t take the offer ended up getting sent the bomb that kills Diane & Beth, clarifying the lines by Memory Rick; “You’re one of those creeps who moves in with abandoned adult Beths” & “You live with a version of our dead daughter.” Long winded way of saying, our Rick is not the actual grandfather of Morty.

Oh so you do know about the Roiland thing.

So yeah season 6 is his last season, 7 has new voices. (The writing is honestly not that different because he was basically not involved with the writing since season 3ish)

Just to clarify something the episode didn't quite explained... The Central Finite Curve still exists. The Ricks universes are still separate from the other universes, there's just this big hole in space time that Evil Morty made when escaping.

So there are a lot of ricks that weren't part of the citidel. Ricks are untrusting and paranoid by nature. While every rick on the citidel died, there are still plenty of ricks.

  Is he? i mean they've killed about the same amount of people, including other ricks. They are about the same level of fucked but both rationalize it. Rick with revenge and Evil morty with escape. I don't think he claims to be better morally. He just hates ricks

The central finite curve is basically a "ceiling" on infinity, it's still infinite, however only limiting them to universes where rick is the smartest person in the universe. My question is how evil morty and "tall morty" exist, maybe they're anomalies or slipped through the cracks but i can only speculate

  I think it's pretty simple. Rick created a subset of infinity where versions of him were the smartest people in the universe, but he couldn't conceive of a reality where he was the smartest and didn't stay the smartest. There was nothing in place to prevent that from happening and so, inevitably, it happened.

So when season 6 starts, remember that they removed Justin Roiland from the show after 4 episodes were already recorded and animated, so they had to record dialog using the new actors and they had to keep pace with how roiland voiced characters so the first handful of episodes are going to feel a bit weird

  Pretty sure Season 7 is when JR was canned. All of Season 6 was still with him as the voice

    You're right. That's my bad. I genuinely thought there were only 6 seasons of rick and morty because I blanked on a lot of episodes
