Remember watching this show as a kid and it's held up pretty well honestly. If you love this show you guys should definitely watch Iron man armoured adventures it's Danny Phantom but for Iron man and it's crazy with how many villains and other heroes marvel has so you guys will definitely have fun watching the show 😉😁. Sorry just recommending it after you guys are done with Danny Phantom 😉.

Ive seen the whole show when it came out, but I'm just as stressed out by the bad romance as you guys and keep second guessing how it ends haha... credit to the show for feeling real

yeah it makes sense dumptown had to be watched first, even past Mordecai being missing i don't see him ditching the park like he does in Dumptown post movie

We're now stepping into territory that I am unfamiliar with. I didn't even watch much of season 6 when Regular Show was still airing to tell you the truth. I mean, I know some things I shouldn't for being someone who hasn't actually watched the later seasons, but it's gonna be nice to finish this show with y'all despite my being spoiled! (hope no one does the same for y'all)

I know why viewership dropped for yall, it's because the people who stopped watching probably havent seen much of anything past season 5.

I watched cartoon network religiously until about 2018. Season 6-10 is a HUGE blindspot for me because A} They never played any reruns of shows that weren't Teen Titans Go, Clarence, Uncle Grandpa, or The Amazing World of Gumball. And they were never consistent about when new episodes of shows like Adventure Time or Regular Show dropped. Steven Universe was in a constant cycle of CN dropping five episodes in a week and going on a months long hiatus. This was during an era when they dumped new episodes of the last OG Ben 10 show at 6 am on weekday mornings, I watched the series finale while tying my shoes and eating cereal to go to my bus stop at 6:45. After Ipad kids started watching everything on youtube kids or netflix cable tv cartoon channels most often just played the most episodic cartoon slop they could just to hold young kids attention.

It's the same reason The Owl House was cut short. Shows with slightly older audiences and more continuity just weren't good for reruns, so they often got the shaft. It's why every cartoon with continuity starts as episodic as possible, because networks wont greenlight anything else. Amphibia, Rise of the TMNT, DuckTales, Steven Universe, all these shows START slow and episodic and they worm their way into more overarching story once they have an audience already because networks dont wanna fund an unproven IP unless they know they can blast the schedule with reruns you dont need context for.

I really can't speak for the ratings the show was getting for season 6. I was just a teen who didn't care, and just wanted to watch my favorite show. I do know however that the show along with many others were mismanaged because the network was in it's Teen Titans Go era. So Regular Show (and a bunch of other shows) were barely being aired and consistently being moved to other nights. Also, I don't know who the dummies were that said Mordecai wasn't a whole idiot for crashing the wedding. I personally never got to a point where I hated him. But anyone with common sense would know what he did was terrible. It's good that the show was able to keep going and got a movie and ended on a good note. No spoilers duh.

From what I can tell season 6 of regular was very well recieved, at least based on review sites most notable rotten tomatoes with a 93 percentage, however I can't speak for the overall fandom reception, for me i agree with most critics that the season did a great job building Mordecai for his disastrous breakup and showed once again that the writers for regular show are talented in making these characters feel like actual people with actual character arcs in such a chaotic show. So I never thought the season was "bad" but it was building upon the characters we've had for the past 5.

As Rigby said Mordecai is just going to focus on himself now so I don't think there's going to be any more relationships I think I'm not 100% sure I remember a lot of season 8 but not much of season 7
