The thing I love about Auto is that in most robot takeover movies they suddenly give robots feelings and resentment towards humans. But Auto is purely reacting on his prime directive: Full Autopilot, Do not go to Earth. Any normal pilot that could think for themself would see the plant and see hope, but robots don’t think. They only act on their programming.
I know it’s been a couple of months at this point, but I am still hopeful that, as a little one-off, y’all did a reaction to Burn-E. It’s a short that came with Wall-E and is available on Disney+. It is also cute and very funny.
