  1. This is one of the movies I never saw but someone bought me the game and later on I saw parts of it. Now thanks to this being popular with reactors I’ve been introduced to Tom Waits, the musician from the chop shop song

  2. My grandmother just passed about a month or two ago, and she lived with the same form of dementia (called Lewey Body Dementia) that caused Robin Williams to take his own life. We’re having a funeral in a week, and the grieving process has been very weird for me. But I am so grateful I got to see him goofy and so very gendered. It kinda helps, I think? I dunno. I don’t mean to trauma dump (3am is hitting me atm), more that I wanted to draw attention to the Disease that ravaged them both. Robing Williams death has incredibly helped us as a society be more aware of mental health and illness as a whole, and I will forever be grateful for it. But it should also be known that he was LITERALLY losing his mind. And it’s not uncommon for people with lewey body dementia (in the mobile semi lucid early stages) to attempt suicide bc of anything from the hallucinations to the paranoia to the isolation that comes when realizing you’re seeing things other people can’t see. My grandmother suffered for probably 10 yrs alone, before she fell and was moved in with us. I’m so glad Robin didn’t suffer like she did, and his death did a lot good for the world; just as much in death as he did in life.

  3. If you havent watched Fern Gully you definitely must! It was Robin Williams first voice acting job but Aladdin came out within the same year and over shadowed it but it is one of his best! And Tim Curry is a voice actor in it as well.

  4. Used to love this movie when I was a kid. Watched it so many times, I could probably repeat most of the script while it played.

  5. So the song in the Mom’s scrap shop is “Underground” by Tom Waits, who sings the “Little Drop of Poison” as Captain Hook in Shrek 2.

  6. I feel like a fun watch for y’all would be RANGO. It’s a little bit more on the “adult” side with its themes and content and even animation and is just a fun parody of westerns while also being a faithful one! It’s one of my fave movies of all time and I think y’all would enjoy it!

  7. I sawthis when it first came to theaters and remembered nothing about it. This was surprisingly good. I love how good I’ve gotten at identifying Jennifer Coolidge.

I’m curious how the light came to be named Shannon (or is it Sharon, I forget).

  8. I saw this in the theaters as a kid and had the DVD. I love how fun this movie is. I will say my only issue with it is that I personally feel that Cappy and Rodney never had enough chemistry/shared screen time to warrant a relationship between them. I was genuinely surprised that Piper wasn’t the love interest, but honestly, I feel like any romance plot for Rodney would’ve felt shoe-horned in since it has 100% nothing to do with the overall message lol That said, I think this movie is solid with a lot of great humor, fascinating animation, and really creative world building. I’m glad you guys enjoyed it! 🙂

  9. Monsters vs aliens is sooo funny lmao n idk if you’ve watched the Lorax imma check after this lol. This movie came out in my birth year but I have older siblings so I grew up watching it a lot on dvd!!

    1. Watching this and seeing Erik laugh but Ruff look amusingly confused reminds me that Ruff needs to watch Star Wars. Or at least realize that Rodney’s voice actor is a huge part of the franchise. 😂
