After I realized that Dennis is a sociapath, like a clinical, non joking, non ironic actual sociopath with broken empathy, his actions became a lot more understandable.

I've also heard it theorized that he has severe, untreated, bipolar personality disorder, most likely exacerbated by his trauma. He gets quite passionate about perceived injustices, the definition of said injustices is flawed though. Combine that with the sudden mood swings, fear of commitment, and constant, blatant rationalizations, seems more like BPD than sociopathy.

Fun fact alot of the beer signs and stuff used to be actual promotions before the beer companies found out what it's Always Sunny was going to be. you can see how they turned the budweiser logo into a guitar and hiw they just have generic "LIGHT" beer signs.

This show is basically Seinfeld turned up to 11. Awful people ruining lives, but through a modern lens.
