I appreciate the fact that we didn't just pretend the "buildings need to be up to code" thing was invalid and they actually addressed. A lot of shows just pretend rules are for nothing but like... Construction and development has to be perfect or it's dangerous.

  I was thinking this all the way back in season 1 when she put out that forest fire. Naturally caused forest fires are a good thing. Half the reason fires are as bad as they've been the last few years is because we keep stopping the ones that actually help the forest stay healthy, letting kindling build up until half the west coast ends up on fire.
  
  An uninformed or unaware helpful person can do just as much damage as an actively destructive one, really glad they brought it up in the show.

It's crazy cause Omniman's perception of time is different from humans cause his people live for hundreds of years. So him coming to Earth and starting a family and living there for 20 years is comparable to us doing the same thing but only for like a week or a month. 20 years must barely be a drop in the bucket to Omniman, I'm assuming.

    I'm not sure if they are telling the truth because my impatient ass started looking up wiki stats on "why Donald lives!?!?!?" after episode 1 and unless I just misread something, I think it's because of something else? Guess now all of us will be surprised on what explanation route they will end up taking. Multi-verse and whatnot could affect the show's reasoning for sure! Gotta watch to find out for sure, I guess?
