so we're in compendium 2 which is sorta a crossroads for mark to deal with alot more moral issues hence his dope blue outfit era, think its pretty clear that both mark and cecil are in the wrong for different reasons

The fact that he ages so quickly means he did not have the years of learning and gaining a moral compass like most humans do,

The cool thing about Oliver is that because he is a hybrid he has the aging really quickly but it works in his advantage because he can also live really long and get stronger as he ages so basically he will out age and out power mark eventually but he would die of old age faster eventually.

Cecil is right about Mark and this episode proves it Mark is a hypocrite he wont let any of the villains reform but Oliver murders the maulers and Mark justifies it and moves on

That is so disingenuous. There is a big difference between reform and punishment. They didn't even serve time in prison. They never got punishment for their actions. Why would Mark believe they were reformed? Cecil himself said they were psychologically conditioned. That's not reform lol. Cecil in his arrogance messed up bad. Mark wants them in prison so they can face punishment for their PREMEDITATED actions. If they reform over time, he would probably be okay with it. Or if Cecil had sat him down and talked with Mark about it instead of surrounding him with monsters and trying to shut him up.
Also, it is clearly shown that Mark is disappointed with Oliver but believes it was because of a lack of control and understanding. Not a true malicious intent to cause harm. He didn't "move on." Not to mention, there is a HUGGGGE difference between a kid who is less than a year old killing criminals in the heat of the moment, and a grown adult who killed innocents and turned them into monsters with premeditation. It's not even close.

Yeah, Ruff, all of the stuff mentioned and shown in the promotional material is what they deem to be the tame shit that's gonna happen this season, every episode besides EP8 has a name, thumbnail, and description, for specific reasons.

I really like Mark before this season, but he is starting to kinda piss me off with how hypocritical he is. He is ok with looking past his brother killing someone that yielded, yet starts a whole big stink with Cecil(yeah Cecil is a prick, but atleast he acts in the interest of the bigger picture the survival of Earth). Mark is seeing things in black and white around him, but when it's himself and his family all of a sudden there is room for leeway.

That's what makes this story line with them so compelling is that both have blind spots and are wrong but are right about the criticism of each other. And with Marks feelings on Oliver, he definitely didn't look past it, you might not have paid attention to the 3 scenes during and afterwards, but he was pissed and disappointed in those scenes. And the only positive thing he said (while talking to Eve) about it was that he believed it was a self control problem and hopefully he wont do it again.

I'm not saying he defended it, but he definitely looked the other way. He had no problem arresting Multi-Paul the brother of his colleague for almost killing Rex(which was justified don't egt me wrong), but he looks the other way when it's his own family. Mark is being a idealist hypocrite

There is a huge difference between a grown adult killing innocents and turning them into monsters with premeditation, or a man taking revenge on someone who wasn't even responsible for his sisters death by trying to kill him with premeditation, and a kid who is less than a year old who doesn't truly understand morality killing criminals in the heat of the moment. Again, Mark killed Levy in the heat of the moment. What Sinclair and Multi-Paul did was WAYYYY different.
Not saying Oliver doesn't need to be punished, but it isn't even close to the same thing as what the other guys did.

So the 2 bad guys in the beginning were 2 of the guys machine head hired in season 1 to fight against Mark and the stone guy.
