Honestly the only innocent one in that family was the kid man. Scott wanted to give up multiple times but his wife kept pushing him to do crazier shit. Bitch put her child in harms way to pose as a hostage.  Scott's perception was fucked by grief. And he should have shut her idea down. The child is the only one I feel bad for.

Based on how he explains it the belt "saves" her cells when she transforms and then "loads" that save when she transforms back, so I don't think it would ever revert her like that but maybe it could bug out and mess up her age in a more sporadic/random way

Bruh I got a feeling if Monster Girl take that belt off, she's gonna de aged by at least 5 years

powerplex is probably my favorite villain from the comics and they fucking nailed him

I can understand grief and wanting revenge but powerplex was litterslly looking at footage of omniman being the one killing people (specifically the subway scene) and still thought he was the bad guy. That just makes me lack like 70 percent empathy for the guy. Also cannot wait for the next couple episodes!

You missed that V2 is actually Oliver. The one agent in the cafeteria calls Anissa VS3 and mentions 2A as needing to grow up. Theres even a screen in the Anti-viltrumite research lab with Oliver label as #2. So we can probably guess Nolan is VS1 (Viltrumite Subject) with Mark and Oliver being VS2 and VS2A being the second gen and type of Viltrumites they've encountered. Anissa being 3rd ever they've seen makes her VS3.

And yeah Powerplex being voiced by Aaron Paul is fantastic cuz I can only hear him as Jessie screaming "HE CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT." Perfect meta actor for the part Powerplex fits int he story. And yeah Its actually getting really tiring hearing this asshole all around Mark saying he's the problem and it's his fault all these bad things are happening. Scott is no different than Omni-Man when he was using him like a baseball bat against people, saying it's all his fault for these people getting hurt and dying around them. He even had all the video evidence before him as a GDA worker. He KNEW AND SAW Mark fighting with all he had to stop Omni-man and get beaten to an inch of his life. His wife and he were fucking nuts from grief and couldn't even think about their own child. It's just sad.

And yeah the rest of the season is going to be fucking nuts. Those other Marks aren't just for show and we know Angstrom makes Powerplex and his wife look like sane, well adjusted people.

If I remember right in the comics amber got a boyfriend named Gary who abused her, like black eyes, manipulation and everything. Invincible threatened to kill him if he didn't treat her right. So Kyle here is exclusive to the TV show.

Gary was in the show already but he was a lot older, had a wife and kid already and was the one Titan was dangling over the edge of a building. Later he died in Chicago.

Even if scott got the trial he wanted, 99.9% of people would rule that mark was innocent of the deaths because he was trying to stop omniman. Hell Scott himself saw all the evidence that invincible was trying to do good with the GDA recordings and still decided he was right because he was hurting. It's a typical victim complex where just because they were hurt it justifies inflicting pain on others

Yeah, plus he says “bring justice” quite a few times in this episode meaning he already fully believes that he himself is justified. As soon as he said that in the parking garage I knew bro was cooked

Scott and his wife were so blinded by hate they kinda deserved what they got. I feel bad for the kid because being with parents like that was never gonna end well for him
