The animation thing is because the characters tend to have stiff movements which looks especially choppy to people but other than that the animation is fine (the ones being outright hateful are just taking advantage of that to excuse their behavior, a criticism is different than hating the way they do)
mark really needs to learn nuanche, because he is really being black and white with this whole morality stuff
Invinvible's animation is shit! It has always been shit. But every season the animation gets worse. That dosn't mean that the show isn´t good, but I can't understand how you guys watch animated shows every day and don't see that invincible has the crapiest animation scenes of all time.
I'll be honest with you, people whine about animation in EVERY show, I just ignore each and every one of them, waste of time to bother

There's this character called tech jackel he has his own comic that takes place after the main invincible story he's not gonna be in the show so don't worry too much about spoilers
18:14 mainly its because they try to compare to the comics which looks much more detailed than the show.
a lot of the crossovers in invincible are with other works by Robert Kirkman (like science dog) he changed a lot of those up for the show cause he doesn't wanna give amazon control over all his IPs
Thankfully it's been confirmed we are getting Brit at some point this season.

I am gonna be honest. This episode kinda felt weak compared to the episodes in the first half. It was still good...but like, season 2 good instead of season 1 good

I think when Ruff accidentally grabbed the wrong remote to pause around the 19 minute mark, he accidentally turned on the playstation and whatever they use to record started picking up the background/playstation menu music on the recording.
Source: I got tripped up for a second thinking MY playstation had turned on because I've spent waaaay too many times sitting on the menu after inhaling too much oxygen. I swear, I'd recognize that music anywhere. XD

As an animator, a lot of people out there don’t understand that the in between frames for shows like Invincible are sacrificed for things like more realistic character designs and big complicated fight scenes. The impressive animation is saved for big moments, but for the show to get any smoother it would require not just an up in budget but would take even longer to make.
the show is already taking a simultaneous approach in production to get rid of the time problem so they can release yearly; but they're doing so by shrinking the storyboard teams in charge of animating each episode, when Amazon (who've been quite open about their prime video strategy of just throwing money at shows) could just hire more artists; this last episode had 4 artists and 2 revisionists, when episodes from season 1 would regularly have between 9-12 members on the storyboarding team and even the first ever episode had a whopping 18.
You can see the results. There is no secondary motion on screen and most scenes tend to have 3-4 key frames with no in-betweens. The animation is on the weak side, but you can see how the team is doing their best under the circumstances.
Thank you! I’m not an expert on animation or editing or even touch it. Though yeah i noticed it to. They’re also leaning heavily in the impact frames to help sell the gravity in certain animation frames/ scenes. Like the punches & Eve using her exo armor
Exactly, these are just different cheat codes used in animation. Ultimately the team is doing a good job. People crapping on it are just expecting it to live up to anime-levels of smoothness at all times which is not what American media pays for
