  1. Something to note that you didn’t notice when it happened, is that when the Major sang his little song before he died, Integra pulled out a recorder and gave it a little click, she recorded his death just like the Queen asked her to, so she can listen to it when she goes to bed.

  2. Yugioh abridged (the godfather of abridged made it and TFS has worked with him ((you don’t need to know anything about the original show or game)))
Or Code Ment a code geauss abridged if you’ve seen that anime.

  3. You guys should check out the One Piece abridged series by Purpleeyeswtf. It only goes up to the baratie, but it’s very fast, so you guys could probably do the whole thing in one episode if you wanted to.

  4. Really hope you guys do Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged. As always TFS delivers, but the sheer amount of talent they themselves as well as other professional voice actors they collabed with brought to the series made it something special.

  5. Best explanation I’ve found for what happened to Alucard.
When Alucard absorbed Schrödinger he didn’t exist. Because when he consumed Schrödinger it was the same as always observing him. And as long as he was observed, he couldn’t change his state from existence to non existence or vice versa. The flaw in the plan is that when he “observed” Schrödinger’s, he could take on any of two state: Existing or not existing. If he had been lucky and Schrödinger had settle on “existing” then nothing would have happened and Alucard would have been fine forever. That’s why the Major says “I called heads” because it was a bet. After all the Major did, the only plan he found to beat Alucard still had 50% chance to fail.
What seem to have happened at the end is that Alucard absorbed Schrödinger powers so that there were his own, and then proceeded to “purify” every soul within himself so that at the end there was nothing looking back at him (including himself as he seems to have gotten rid of his guilt-induced schizophrenia and have forgiven himself) so now he has the power to be everywhere and nowhere as long as he’s not observed by anyone, he doesn’t even have to absorb souls anymore.

  6. Hellsing the TV anime was loosely based on the manga, but the manga hadn’t been completed yet so they made up their own arcs during the second half of the show.
Hellsing Ultimate was an OVA series that was a direct adaptation of the manga after it’s completion.

  7. I’ll give y’all the rundown on the Hellsing TV Show vs Ultimate.

Tv show is a 12 episode deal that adapts about the first half of the Hellsing manga maybe like 80% faithfully. Some changes here or there (mostly toning down the violence, which is saying a lot with how violent it still is), content not in the manga, and focusing a lot more on Seras primarily and the drama of her being violently turned into a vampire. And then, either because the manga wasn’t finished or because the production committee only ordered so many episodes, the show shifts and ends with entirely original content. Never has the Nazis outside of a single oblique reference. Not really worth watching outside of its *killer* OST.

Ultimate is a 10 episode OVA that faithfully adapts the whole manga. It makes minor changes here or there to fit the animated medium, but outside of that and toning down some of the bizarre comedy it’s faithful to a T. It’s also sufficiently long; 10 episodes, yes, but it’s 10 OVA’s, which range in length from 30 minutes to over an hour.

If y’all are curious you should check out the actual OVA series, it and Abridged cover the same story but in such different ways that they are functionally distinct. Even moreso than DBZ vs DBZ Abridged. Whether y’all do it as a series or on y’all’s own time it’s worth doing, it’s very veryy good.

    1. Additional note. Y’all brought up TFS releasing Hellsing Abridged over the course of ten years or so, and it’s funny how that mirrors the actual Hellsing Ultimate which took about the same amount of time, albeit the first four episode being out within a couple years time and then like a 4 year gap ‘cuz the people that owned the rights went bankrupt, then it got brought back and got four episodes within two years, and then a whole two year gap before episodes 9 and 10 which came out within the same year.

To put it simply, Hellsing Ultimate is something I literally grew up with from being a young teen to being in college, which is kinda wild if u think about it.

  8. The main goal of Millenium was to die in a great battle against a worthy enemy which is why they all seemed so happy to die violently. Literally Nazi vampires, immortal and out of time, they felt as if they had no purpose in the modern “peaceful” world besides to die in a glorious battle and take as many people down with them as they could. I really hope you watch the real Hellsing Ultimate at some point its really a work of art.

  9. Glad you guys enjoyed Hellsing Ultimate Abridged! Hope you guys do Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged. It’s similar to how they did DBZ abridged where it’s mostly jokes at the start then becomes more serious later on while still being funny.

  10. I know the DBZA shorts and HFIL are on-going series right now if you just want to scratch more of that Team Four Star itch. There is actually supposed to be a new short coming out this Saturday.

  11. Fun fact the female voice of Girlycard, the loli girl form Alucard takes and yes that is it’s official name in the anime, was voiced by Alucard’s VA’s sister. Which was weird to say the least.

  12. So the Captain (the nazi werewolf) was actually a bit of a problem in the anime. Even Alucard was a bit scared of him when he initially got to the battlefield. The only reason Seras was able to kill him was because he was actively trying to die.
