Darwin in that first episode is the epitome of people who will get offended on behalf of other people or fight for the rights of people who are capable of fending for themselves and making their own choices.

hopefully this isn’t oversharing, but it feels weird to dip without saying anything. i went through a really heart-wrenching breakup at the beginning of 2023, and somehow i found your youtube channel. watching you guys react to pokemon, teen titans, avatar/korra, steven universe, alice in borderland, and gumball really helped comfort me during times when i felt like things would never get better. now i’m seeing someone new and life feels so much lighter again. gumball was the last show i was sticking around for bc i gotta cut down on my subscriptions, so before i go i just wanted to say thanks for making these videos - they might be helping people more than yall think. GUMBALL BILLY!!!!

I think something not a lot of people realize is the show was never cancelled, and it was a super meta move to built up to the movie and next season following this cliff hanger. The show got "cancelled" and thats what they're gonna have to fight. Covid and the merger screwed up production a bunch and made it really seem like the show was over, but apparently Warner and Hanna Barbera are going to be at the next Annecy International Animation Film Festival, so we might get news soon.

After the cancellation of Gumball, it was a few years later announced that a Gumball movie would be in production, but ever since the WB merger catastrophe we haven't heard any news or updates about it and many people believe it's been canceled. I'm still glad we're getting a season 7, but I'm left wondering how they are gonna tie up all the loose ends from the S6 finale with this new season because I assumed that was what the movie was for, to transition smoothly from S6 to S7.
I think y'all missed ALOTTTTT of references in these episodes ??

its been YEARS and I still have no clue whether or not I like that finale. I mean, it's a profound look at the state of the industry where they needed to lose what makes them special in order to live. Robs desperate plea and cling to survival at all costs only to end up for nothing. the world still ends. the show gets cancelled. the void comes for them no matter what. There is no happy ending. Like Banana Barbra said, There is not next time. everyone in this show is stuck in the void with no hope of escape. I can not wait for this show to come back to see how the revival literally revives them.
